I saw your video to days ago, got so enthused about it that I bought yarn one day ago. I had a dreadful time with rows 3 and 4 but after knitting and ripping out sample several times, I finally got it right. (My eyes were playing tricks on me when I read the instructions.) I am starting this project this afternoon. This pattern does not require any estimation of how wide to make it! Just knit until it is wide enough, then knit until it is long enough. You posted the video on February 12th, which is my birthday, so this project is doubly nice. P.S. Your videos are easy to watch because you knit the way I do, "Continental, Combination".

So sweet, the yarn is made from your homeland, Romainia! I do that as well. When I find something made in the Czech Republic, Solovakia or the Ukraine I will purchase it as well because my father was from the no longer country of Czechlosovakia. I unfortunately have never been to any of those places but feel as if I should go, I kniw my father would have liked me yo see his homeland. Hopefully one day. It is on my bucket list.
You are a fabulous artisan and teacher. I learned so much by watching your videos even if they are more advanced than I am it gives me a goal to reach. You inspire and educate about yarn, tension, care of everything while you knit. Almost as if rather than answering everyone's questions, I asked several. You (anyone) can and will get all your questions answered. Just keep watching you teach, as I do. It is very enjoyable. While teaching you have a great insite into what people are wondering perhaps you have a list of previous questions that you can answer so there is not silence watching you knit you keep instructing, it's wonderfully helpful. I find your teaching to be very intuitive speaking about your materials and everything. You have actually answered all the questions I have asked. I just needed to be patient and watch more of your video's and you eventually got to all of them and I got so much more than that. You are very talented and remind me of my muse. She inspired me, often taught me techniques and mostly helped me get serious about my life and working in the field of my arts and crafts obsession and lifes career for the past 35 yrs plus. Thank you for your videos, patterns, and (mega) information. Sorry for asking so many questions in the past videos that I watched.

Great pattern and thanks for your lovely video. If you are handwashing, you do not need the plastic added to your wool yarns. I don't ever buy superwash as I do the same type of hand washing so I try to find natural fiber without plastic added, ie nylon etc.

I love this pattern. I am using a size 10 needle (U.S.) and a bulky yarn size 5 ( U.S.). In a varigated yarn fall colors, it is turning out very lovely. Next time I will try the double leaves pattern.

👎🏼 The “music” in the background gets to be really annoying. Real music, like a classical piece, would be fine, but drone of techno repeating over and over... ugh. 👍🏻 however I never would have figured out that “bind off 3” in row 14 without help, so thank you for that.
