Top of the carb is on backwards. The slide return spring will get twisted and may not let the slide up all the way. Also, can cause the slide to stick. The 73 should also have the tall GP style seat to match the aluminum tank. Your seat is from a 71 72 narrow frame square barrel or early 400 radial.
