Rob is a hero for going away to fix the audio repeatedly
I taught a mini-course in Undergrad to Psych 101 students that was basically about the psychology of Stephen King’s Under the Dome so I’m always tempted to say that’s my favorite, but honestly it’s too hard to choose just one favorite 😅
This is actually one of my all time favourite games!

I’ve always been intrigued by Alan Wake as I’m a huge fan of Remedy’s storytelling since Max Payne & enjoyed Control so I’m chuffed that I finally get to play this.
I haven’t played controls DLC cos I’m waiting to play this first.
Control’s DLC got me excited for this.
Sounds like Ash's weird dreams can be attributed to what she eats/being hungry
She eats slot of pickled cauliflower 😋 which to be fair sounds pretty tasty.

One of my favorite Stephen King stories (besides the Dark Tower series) is Survivor Type!
25:23 "The Loved Ones" is a great horror movie, I don't think I'd watch it if I wasn't feeling well though lol.😂

Never played nor heard of this game, but it looks interesting! Or maybe I just think that because of Rob and Ash's awesome commentary added. VOD Squad since I keep missing the notifications of streams :(
It was originally an Xbox exclusive until this release. So depending on which consoles you owned can affect that.

Vod Squad!!!!! Love Alan Wake. Played the original on 360 sadly never finished, really looking forward to the remaster on ps5. First Final Fantasy 7 now Alan Wake. Now if ww could just get Eternal Darkness: Sanuty's Requiem remastered from the GameCube that would be a 👨🍳💋.

Just do what I do. Have the video playing in a different tab so you only hear audio and don't spoil yourself on the game too much by looking at the gameplay.

Well yeah. It's remaster, not a remake. Actually this is better than normal remaster, they changed the character models.
Also it's available on console which it was never available back then so it's definitely worth for the people who haven't played it, it's gonna get more recognition now.

I never played Alan Wake so I'm looking to playing for the first time. Shame I wasn't able to watch this live but I was out getting a third dose of the vaccine so it's a VOD Squad day for me.
I got my 6th booster shot because "they" said it was safe. I am being sarcastic. Good for you for getting the shot. I don't have a problem with the shot. I have a problem with them "making" me get it or I can't work. Not cool. Personal choice. My body.

Really enjoy this game. Unfortunately it made me real sick. Im weak sauce i cant handle The lighting and the angle gets me motion sickness.

Honestly I'm finding it really hard to notice any difference between this and the original pc version we already got.
its mostly aboutmaking it available for consoles to play on the latest consoles and have a nice little visual upgrade as well
Remaster looks good. Played this on 360 when it came out will pick this up in a sale in a few months I think 👌

If you played it on the Xbox 360 you can skip this one. It's identical, just on another platform..... Ran through it several times on the 360, it is a good game but not as good as buying it again on PS4. If it is your first time, knock yourself out.
This remaster actually looks worse in some ways, especially the facial expressions. What a shame. Just get the original on pc, it’s the best.
This is what next gen truly is, disappointing ports.

Rob, don't bother reading any Stephen King books, he's very bad at writing. I recently read ''Doctor Sleep'' after having read ''The Shining'' as a teenager and was shocked at how badly written it was.

@@petme280 My theory is that people think he is good because they read Goosebumps as young teenagers and then graduate from there to Stephen King, which gives them nostalgia glasses. Pick up one of King's books and read a passage from the book at random, it will be very badly written.
Won’t buy this. Would be happy if I could buy a PS5 for starters, but this probably will be the first gen I skip. Almost a year after release and still no machines in stores! :(

Sign up for email notifs, I did with my mobile provider months ago and they messaged me last week saying they would have stock at 830 the next morning, and now I have one!! Such a fast machine and the dualsense is a major upgrade, truly feels next gen.
There's a chip shortage, stores are buying as much stock as possible because they know it will sell out but they dont seem to have done anything about bots online (that's not Sony's fault. They have horizon 2 out in a few months so they want as many people to own a PS5 for that and experience that game how it's supposed to be as possible.)
That's why my mobile provider was a good route, because you need to have been a customer with them for 17 months and of course, need to be on a current plan (my phone) so it's impossible to buy more than 1.
