Hi, it is better to walk 7000 to 10,000 steps per day for your age.
Initially, you can start with a very slow intensity walking. When you do this continuously, in a month or so you can improve it to a mild brisk walking and then to brisk walking. This brisk walking will fetch you all the health benefits including weight reduction.

Sir, if you are not in perfect form or if you do HIIT incorrectly, it may lead to joint problems. If you are overweight, you need to reduce your Weight, strengthen your muscles with muscle strengthening exercises and then only do HIIT.

I 65 year old. I was walking daily on treadmill mill for one hour at a speed of 8km/hour. After few months I started having heel pain, when I showed to orthopaedic doctor, he told me I am having Plantar fasciitis. Now I am not able to walk few meters because of pain. Kindly suggest me what to do and also is Plantar fasciitis curable.

Hi, it is always better to do normal walking compared to 8 shape or infinity walking unless you have a coordination problem. Eight shaped walking applies more pressure on your ligaments, so it is better to do regular walking.

Doing, warm-up exercises, weights for leg, shoulders, chest, back, bicep, and triceps for arms. then stomach exercise for 10 and walking 15 mts in the treadmill for 15 mts at an average of 5KM/ hr speed.
