Hi, it is always better to do normal walking compared to 8 shape or infinity walking unless you have a coordination problem. Eight shaped walking applies more pressure on your ligaments, so it is better to do regular walking.

Dear Dr., I am 64 years old. i do 5 days a week at least 2 hrs/day exercise at Gym. Doing, warm-up exercises, weights for leg, shoulders, chest, back, bicep, and triceps for arms. then stomach exercise for 10 and walking 15 mts in the treadmill for 15 mts at an average of 5KM/ hr speed. The total calories burned is 600 to 700 /DAY. Will it be sufficient or it is equivalent to walking 8000 steps? .Please advise Dr..
