Great review, very straight forward, just purchased for myself. I think it's important to note that the Samsonite Guardit 2 can hold a laptop up to 17.3 inches.
@@asrecommends It's good, but even though the bag fits 17.3inch screen laptops, my laptop screen is that big but the laptop itself is a little bigger than that, so it only just fits inside the bag overall, so I feel like it would be better if it could accommodate a bigger total size, since it would allow for more clearance of a laptop that has a 17.3 inch screen but is also slightly bigger than that screen.
Hi, Hiago, your welcome! What did you decide? I am still using it for long trips for travel as well as just for going to office; it still holds like a brand new!
I was really happy with this bag until the front compartment zip broke after less than a year. Then bought another one because i thought it might be a faulty one. Same zip broke again after less than a year. Im really salty about it because it fits my needs perfectly but the quality isnt where it. should be.
@@asrecommendsHaha, I bought in on a deal in a local store for 30 euros, it looks good. The back looks a cheap if I'm being honest, but the front and the interior is amazing, especially for the value

@@asrecommends I was referring to the design. Side pockets are not well designed. You can see based on that, they don't really know how to design a backack. I have a few Samsonite products, they are well made in terms of durability. I have also just ordered my first Samsonite backpack (Ecodiver travel) which is about to arrive in the morning. I chose it for a specific reason, although I do see it is not a well designed product also. Eg, they used that water-proof (leather-like) material on the straps, which is a no-no, it wrinkles and destroys quickly there. Designing a good backpack takes skill and a lot of backpack history :-) LTT just tried to make one. It's expensive, but it seems to be almost indestructible (Linus from LTT, who has thousands of backacking hours, was a fan of Everki, btw).
Just a quick update, it's been 8 months since it's my daily bag as well as travel bag, still looks like new, nothing broke. Truly the best bag!
how does is do in the rain?
Good video. Is there padding on the bottom side of the bag?
@@SirCrashaLot didn't risk it in heavy rain as I always carry laptop
Any update?
@@samuele5931 Yes still use it to this day, in trips, going to work etc. Very good backpack!

Thanks! How is it holding up?

nice video man, I'm trying to get the rollers one, but even this one looks spacious. thanks for the update in the comments also
Thanks for the review! I'm Trying to decide between three different models: Guardit 2.0, Ikonn I and the Xenon 3.0 (slim).
Hi, Hiago, your welcome! What did you decide? I am still using it for long trips for travel as well as just for going to office; it still holds like a brand new!
Hey Aistis! I decided to go with the Ikonn I, which is also a great backpack!
@@hiagotb Yes absolutely, been looking to that as well, it looks good :) Good to know!
Good review! Is it 15.6 or 17.3 version?
Is the backpack rigid and water resistant?
I would say it's water repellent instead of waterproof, a little rain wouldn't do any harm

Thanks for mentioning it is water-repellent!
thanks for comment!
Hello, is the model you are looking at in this video 15.6 inches or 17 inches?
Good video. Is there padding on the bottom side of the bag?
Thanks, no there is no padding like on the back.

Good review. Just found my new travel backpack.
Awesome, glad to hear, thanks!
Do you know if a 16" LAPTOP would fit?
is there padding on the bottom side of the bag?
A little, yes

I’m wondering how long will survive zips
Hi Michal, I am still using it for long trips for travel as well as just for going to the office; it still holds like brand new!
Still using every day, survived like new
Only Everki. Everything else is either not durable or poorly designed (like this one. Look at the side pockets...)
I own it still and use it everyday, it's very durable :)

It’s ok, it’s not a Tortuga travel backpack
