Thank you for playing and singing this beautiful piece of Gregorian chant for us, Richard! As a Catholic, it really hits home with me, particularly in this difficult time. On a side note, your Ecclesiastical Latin is flawless! Good job!
Hi there Richard, Ave Maris Stella is my all time favourite plainsong. I listen to your version everyday ! Could you give us the accompaniment please because i want to learn it on piano 💜
Superb accompaniment of this famous gregorian hymn. Congrats! I think time has come for organists to make a detour to study a bit of gregorian chant, to learn how it's made and where it aims, to get out of these square notes and learn the inner rythm and richness of this incredible music. I think organists would have everything to learn from this and, from there, rediscover these more rythmic hymns knowing the musical traditions the inherit from. It's dangerous though, because you could catch the virus and think the mass and offices would be better of without organ (been there - but rest assured I still play the organ ;-) )
Just gorgeous. Thank you Richard. I sing quite a lot of plainsong, but this is one of my favourites, particularly when sung liturgically at the end of Vespers. I can't play the free accompaniment for toffee!

There is something purifying and cleansing about Gregorian chant, especially as sung here.

Beautiful, almost hauntingly so. Lovely piece of music. Richard, you have a lovely voice, too.
Gorgeous. Everything just seemed to stop when this played.
Whether you are religious or not, this is truly beautiful, I can't get enough! Great Voice too!
Truly beautiful. Incredible that this is all a single incredibly talented artist. Bravo!!!
WOW!! So haunting and so beautiful. Thank you Richard for playing and singing this.

I love singing this at vespers on feasts of Our Lady :)
Beautiful. The free accompaniment of plainsong hymns, sequences and psalms is a real art, and done well, simply adds to the beauty. Well done.
What an incredible voice! Gorgeous!
Delightful! Thank you very much!
Thanks for this Richard.

Glad you got your channel sorted. Edit: maybe you got it sorted - I see this is another canned one.
What sampleset is this?
I know Richard uses Rotterdam a lot so perhaps that set?
