    That was legendary stuff from Lillard. Massive shot after massive shot. Clutch shot after clutch shot. Dry-ice cold. Damn shame his heroic performance came in a loss because of his teammates.
    The greatest performance I've seen in 20 years of watching NBA basketball. Certainly in a loss.

      It’s crazy to say but this may be the single best playoff performance by any player ever. 55 points, 10 assists, 12 (3s) on 71% FG shooting. This game and Kyle Murray’s game have the best percentage shooting above 45 points. Lillard was efficient and terrifyingly clutch, carrying his whole team with big shot after big shot single handily keeping them in the game and making 2 game tying shots.

    Dame was absolutely insane this game, particularly in the CLUTCH!! He’s not this ball hog hero you claim. He’s never really had another star. His best teammates have been who? Lamarcus Aldridge, CJ, an aging Carmelo, Wes Matthews, Nic Batum, Robert Covington? He’s had to be their main guy for years, and overachieved in the regular season, but never had the firepower to make real playoff runs.
      If Dame would’ve had Brandon Roy, Melo with more prime years left, or Lamarcus doesn’t leave etc. We’d be having a different conversation. I’ll never understand the logic of a player like Dame being criticized for his play style, when he hasn’t had another legitimate star next to him.

    Even though I cannot picture Lillard wearing another team's jersey but either major change ups in portland or get out of there this is getting ridiculous. Watching CJ and Covington choke every single shot in OT was heartbreaking and frustrating couldn't stand it anymore was literally screaming stop giving CJ the ball rather take the chance and have Dame take a highly contested shot then give it to CJ whose missing every single shot and stepping out of bounds. Feels bad for this man

    Damian lillard is the version of Allen Iverson carries a team with not a good supporting cast around him except for cj mccollum and can make his team great no matter what Damian lillard is my favorite player to watch cause of the clutch shots he makes he is so fun to watch it’s sad that he was the main reason why the blazers were in the game cause of the shots he makes without Damian Lillard the blazers are nothing

    Portland better make alot of changes if they lose this series. Terry Stotts should be fired, their GM should be fired, McCollum needs to be traded and Nurkic needs to be traded as well.

A midget jacking 30 shots per game is simply a idiotic strategy. Ever since the NBA adopted the 3pt line, only the bad boys Pistons was able to reach the next level playing with a undersize guard as their go to guy. Do you really think Lillard can reach this level? It's a waste of time to have a player like this as the go to guy, even Iverson couldn't do it. There is plenty of examples of other positions playing hero ball and winning, but 6 foot guards? There is only Thomas (and this is one of the reasons why he deserves more recognition)

    This was a jordan-esque performance. Bruh did this in thin air 1 mile up in Denver. 2:56 is a travel tho--lifting up the pivot foot before dribbling. To do all this and then play D on another PG is nuts. Takes so much energy--especially 5,280 ft up.

      @@arsenioseslpodcast3143 you can’t win in the playoffs alone, and lebron lost that series anyway. dame forced two overtimes to give his team a better chance but they blew it. dame went 17 for 24 while the rest of the team shot 38 percent... nobody else on the blazers even scored 20, and cj, powell, and covington all played over 40 minutes. youre gonna need a lot more than that to win
