ドラム叩いてる動画はよく見るけど、こんなに喋ってる動画は初めてみた！
やっぱり笑顔が素敵なドラマーですねっ！
オイラ中1の時にバンドとドラム始め、始めて1年でヤマハのコンテストで関東地区ベストドラマー賞を2年連続でとりました。
スクールは通わず、独学で当時バンドブームだったので、ラウドネスの樋口崇高さんが好きで必死に練習してきてました。
しかし、タムさんのドラミングを観て、樋口崇高さんよりファンになりました。
オイラの中では貴女が一番上手い、個性的と思ってます。とにかくすごいッス🥳👍応援してます。
What stands out with Tamu also in her rock drumming is her touch + feel, she really has an ear for the sound of the drum set as a whole, + gets the best out of the full kit in terms of rich quality tone.
この人、凄く楽しそうに叩くので、見てる方も楽しくなる(^-^)

バイク、車、ドラム❗見た目に、はまり中学生の頃独学で初めました。いくつかバンドもやりましたが何分耳コピだったもんで限界を感じ今は、離れてます。ドラムはスポーツですよね（笑）ユニゾンとか、ブレイクでみんなの音が一つになる気持ち良さが、好きです。

純粋にドラムが奏でる野生感、叩けば音が鳴るのが好きという事ですが、僕は共感できます。音って人の心を動かすパワーがありますよね？
音楽にはジャンルや国境、言葉の壁はなく、誰もが平等に肌で感じる事ができる、世界共通の素晴らしい文化だと思います。😊
そんな音楽の中で、大切なビートを生み出すドラムは、村田さんの人生において、掛け替えのない大切な存在なんですね？

NEMOPHILAも最近ハマってます。
僕はLOUDNESS世代なので、高崎晃の大ファンです。個人的な意見としては、村田さんの圧巻のツーバスに加え、高崎晃級の葉月&サキさんのツインギター、原口さんのベース、ボーカルのマユと、歴代ミュージシャンの中でも過去最強のメンバーなんじゃないかと思ってます。
コロナが落ち着いたら、いつか北海道でもLiveして欲しいです。NEMOPHILAを見に必ず行きます。最後にこれからも応援しますんで、頑張ってください。

A : My club activity of high school was playing pop music. I wasn’t going to join the club at first, but I did. At the club, I touched drums for the first time.

A : I started my band when I was an university student. I kept playing in the band while other friends of mine looked for jobs. I graduated the university keeping not looking for job. Then, I decided to be a pro.

A : They sound when I just hit. It’s cool. And I feel wildness form them. That’s why I love drums.

A : I’m frequently asked this question, I have practiced hard because I don’t have a specific music genre I’m good at playing. Of course, I have favorite musicians, Dream Theater, Opeth and so on.
Loving them and being able to play their music is different though.

A : Night Verses as I mentioned. The piano was the first instrument I learned to play. I listen to classical music played with the piano.
And I’m into the K-pop recently.

A : I’ve had so many difficulties. I think many pro musicians are pessimism. Pro musicians should show their performances to the others and should get the others to judge their play. I think pro musicians tend to compare themselves with the other musicians. I’m the one who do that.
I have experiences that I disappointed myself not playing well, comparing with other drummers. I disappointed myself because I was fixed the stereotype of a pro drummer.
First and foremost, I am Murata Tamu before a drummer.
I realized I go through the life named “Murata Tamu”. It doesn’t need to be disappointed comparing with the others.

Q : What do you care about when practice?
A : I practiced long time, sometime all night long before. But I practice short time with concentration recently.
When I practice a simple phrase, like “ta-taka-taka-taka”, I try to play the phrase like singing instead of thinking just the hitting order of my both hands.

Q : What are you into these days?
A : Cooking, writing songs, and drinking a lot of water!
My specialty is spicy curry.

Q : What’s your goal as a drummer?
A : To be a drummer who can express myself with playing drums.

I’m the drummer of the band named Nemophila. We can’t meet our fans in person because of Corona Virus. So we live-stream instead.

What's impressive is that she can play almost every genre of music. I don't care if one is a best metal drummer, you ain't going to pickup and start playing Jazz. It's not gonna happen. But, she can. And she is a multi-instrumentalist; she can play the guitar, piano and more.
