“Never be an sec team 11-1 with the same sos” ummm buddy Texas played 0 top 25 teams this year except Georgia and lost that would be the same resume as Indiana no top 25 wins and a loss to a top 5 team 😂😂 but just because Texas is a blue blood we’re gonna clown Indianas schedule when they have the same best win against Michigan

They deserve it tho lmao. That was embarrassing, that coach won coach of the year and then looked like the worst coach of the first round.

@@eliyarrows2456Not really. Wider audience underestimates Michigan and ND's defense. Indiana was a very good team, next year will be revealing either way imo.

He was doing his best to put all the pressure on himself instead of the players. He knew they were under manned. It could have been part of his motivation to his players, trying to give them irrational confidence. It’s really not that deep Ry

It is when you're a media goofball who can't stop blowing the SEC
As if Alabama who scored 3 points against an awful Oklahoma team would have done drastically better
He's a clown and should probably stick to basketball. As an IU fan it's actually been really cool to see just how offended by our team and the season we had has made these media people. Finebaum, Cowherd, Ryen, they all have a problem with IU being in the playoff. And they all think a 3 or 4 loss SEC team should have been in instead.
Even if I was a Purdue fan, I will never feel like that's the way it should be.

Texas strength of schedule this year was terrible, buddy. And they were 11-1 and then got beat by a backup QB at Georgia. I’m not defending IU and I dislike Cignetti’s arrogance also but you are being very disingenuous and a shill for the SEC.

You know with all that said would you rather have the previous coach at Indiana… idk who that even was.

Nobody does. As an IU fan, no, we absolutely wouldn't. Until the weird covid years, I had never seen this team win more than 6 games in a season. The expectations were literally ZERO every season. Hopefully beat Purdue, which isn't a given because they are occasionally really good.. possibly win 6 games if we're lucky. The simple fact that we beat ANYONE 11 times in one season is a mind boggling thing for all of us to wrap our heads around. It cannot be understated just how drastically he changed the culture here, and quickly. And I don't care if we played the sisters of the poor and 1 or 2 good teams who stomped us. Beating bad teams is something we never do.
Tom Allen was our coach previously. He's a good guy, and a solid coach. Worked in Indiana as a high school coach for awhile, and has some connections in Florida. That being said he is a better coordinator at this level and we never even thought about approaching the level we did this season with him at the helm. It's a different mindset.
90% of coach Cigs personality and how he talks to the media is designed to get the fans, administration, and players to believe they can win. It's a lot sometimes, but he's trying to fix a program that has been dead for 30+ years. The worst power 4 school in the country.
      We love him.

Cignetti and Sanders the two biggest frauds in football. The selling about how great they are having never won anything and neither of them have tough schedules
For some reason the media needs to create stories. They concentrate on the second tier teams while largely lighting the teams with real talent tough schedules yet still have a real chance at winning conference championships and a national title.
Some people pride just takes over and they do not have realistic view of themeelves
Both Colorado and Indiana do not have football tradition and although improved no real chance at ever being good.
Makes me wonder why Bellichick is going to UNC as although he has. A proven greatness in the NFL thinking you can make UNC a top football school has little chance of succeeding. .
