At 3:42 you see the rope grip on the dead end false mounted, in this way the live end of the cable is being cut, you should mount this the other way around .

A wire rope shall be replaced if
over a length corresponding to 8 diameters it can be seen that the total number of broken wires exceeds 10% of the total number of wires,
it shows signs of harmful wear and tear or internal or external corrosion,
it has been overloaded to the point of permanent deformation,
it has other defects such as kinks, crushed individual parts, a tendency to form spirals or other deformations making it unsuitable for use.

Interesting little drama. These cranes and all their hardware take a huge beating. Glad to see the maintenance & upkeep. On the other hand.... you need to get y'all's ears checked, the noise in the background of this vid is positively hideous. Was that meant to be 'music'?? I'm reaching for a tranquilizer.....
