- Model:Cycles Track in Ten Minutes!
The "Track in Ten Minutes" videos are some of my favorites to make, because it forces me to look past a lot of small decisions that can be made later, and solely focus on the music itself. I decided to use the Model:Cycles today because it's honestly been a while since I played with it, and I missed it! I highly recommend giving this challenge a shot, you'll be surprised what you can do in just ten minutes! Enjoy the video :)

Time Flys by with the model cycles
For a moment I thought you were not going to make it, well done, congratulations! I learn a lot from your videos but most important I enjoy them very much, lots of fun! Thank you!
It was definitely close haha, but I like the ideas I wound up coming up with!
@@FreeBeat yes very good music, I hope I can get a model cycles soon! Cheers!
Make it look soooo easy, love it!
Thank you! I definitely didn't think I was gonna make it lol
super cool video mate!, M:C is an insane machine!!! :D
It really is, thanks for watching!
Hi! Do u have microgranny? I think it would be great to see this one in ur setup!
Or just in a couple vids
I don't, but it's on the list!
Sounds really nice! 👌
Glad you like it!
Super fun! Thank you! I know you said you love this Elektron! Is this at all comparable to the Digitakt? I know it has less bells and whistles. But for the price seems like a good entry point for a new music maker. Any advice is great! Thanks for all you do!
Digitakt is sample-based, you need to load samples and then work with them. Cycles is a FM drum/synth, you work with 6 different machines(synth engines for chords & drums) and no samples at all. Model:Cycles is compared to Digitone, and there's Model:samples which is a strip down version of digiakt. Hope it helps
Many thanks! I appreciate it. So many options. Gets confusing.
@@jansears4380 if your budget allows go for Digitakt. If it’s your first peace of music gear then go with model samples or cycles.
The sequencer is actually fairly similar, so if that's what you're after then the Model:Cycles and Model:Samples are excellent choices. However the Digitakt and Digitone take the actually sound sculpting of their respective specialties (Samples and FM) to pretty ridiculously deep levels.
Thank you for that information. I appreciate it!
I would get a volca sample 2 to make beats, Model Cycles also have a sample verson.
Yup, not sure what that has to do with the video though haha. Thanks for watching!
dude, where is the track?

@@RaverOperatorGeeza Really?
@@ПавелЛобашов-ы7г dude, it's a ten minute or so idea. It's not gonna be a finished and fully polished song for release, just a jam to lay down some ideas to work with.
Maybe Freebeat could have said jam with aim to make song, but either way, I didn't read it like full song, or even with his intro was I expecting a full polished masterpiece...
I know what you mean, but your comment of where is the "track", yes I time stamped for you. Enjoy! 😂
The framework for a song is right there! That's always been the point of these videos :)
@@FreeBeat I'm with you here: I was trying to explain it gently.
But yes a brutal (and honest) reply was said right there!
