Imagine a person seeking to be a federal judge that finds it so hard to just tell the truth.
She told him he was incorrect. She was just writing an article laying out the sides. And he basically said he didn’t believe her that’s obnoxious. Lawyers often argue, both sides. They argue sides that they don’t even believe in. That’s what lawyers do.
@@kareyrose Whilst I agree that Kennedy was pursuing the wrong point about that particular article, it seems clear to me that Lee's deliberate avoidance of the question at the heart of this proved his point. Ultimately, Lee supports men identifying as transgender at sentencing in order to be imprisoned with women. I personally think that is wrong and very dangerous for female inmates and there are plenty of cases to show how terribly things can go.

She could've easily said "no I don't believe men belong in female prisons, whether they're transgender or not" and then if asked what about the articles from 13 years ago, she could've said, I was misinformed and made wrong assessment, I have updated my stance since and now I firmly believe that convicted men belong in men's prison. @@evanbrowne1439Normally, yes. Unfortunately some people are born with genetic issues where they were supposed to develop as female, but a few or many aspects develop as male instead. The same thing happens in the other direction. Here's a really easy example for you: an individual is genetically male, yet developed as being physically female but has neurology of a male. Why you ask? This person was born being with an extreme testosterone resistance, so during development he didn't develop the way he was supposed to. There are other variations of why trans are the way they are, but there is very real genetic components to it.

Kennedy picked articles by others in an academic journal she helped edit and pretended he thought she wrote the whole thing. He is better educated than to think that, but he was banking on a lot of his audience being gullible enough to take his bait. Lee argued that she was only one of the editors of that journal, but he talked over her to fill willing brains with his nonsense.

An absolutely wicked judge we are dealing wiht presiding over our matters. She is a cruel judge. We have her in matter as disabled christian family that she is working hard wiht HOA predatory displacement. We have never missed a regular assessment payment but have filed a case breach of contract as thr HOA did not maintain the property and personal injury because the HOA has rettaliated on us severely for 6 yerars. She has vacted our trial date, she has denied reasonable accommodations and now refusal toi set hearing dates for filed motions. She has done heavy lifting for defendants not requiring them to file motions; then constantnly ruling against us. She even wanted my severely disabled sister to wait in the hall during hearing without coming in. A cruel, a wicked judge. We are trying for a motion for change of venue. Alameda County Superior Court the worst!

She is only doing what every judge has done since Robert Bork to protect themselves and ensure their confirmation. I agree it is disgusting--this unwillingness to own one's own words under the excuse that the issue may later come before the court they have been nominated for; but the fact is, that judges on both sides have done it since the 1980s and some of the most egregious examples of it are Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett, and John Roberts. Amy Coney Barrett trying to pretend like she wouldn't vote to kill Roe v. Wade at the first opportunity was the most grotesque example of hypocrisy I've ever seen in a nomination process. Of course I agree that Lee's positions on allowing sentenced men to claim transgender identities to get placed in women's prisons is moronic. Her beliefs are the essence of academic stupidity, but her evasion of them here is par for the course.

@@jimmymags6516This isn’t a criminal hearing, only in criminal trials can someone have the right to not self-incriminate and not have it held against them. In other hearings officials can take a negative inference from pleading the fifth to a question. By her refusing to answer the question, they can infer that she does in fact believe in what she wrote. Educate yourself.

I used to work at a womans home for domestic violence and abused women. For some unknown reason, the director allowed a trans whatever you call them, a man who wants to be a woman in the home. EVERYONE was upset, angry, and scared. These women just went through intense trauma at the hands of a man (or men), and now they are allowing ine inside the facility?
Once he got there, he was told to be sensitive and not to be loud, etc. What happened? The 3rd day, he stole something from one of the ladies. I think it was perfume or jewelry. Then the next day he argued with two other ladies trying to bully them and called them bit@hes. (We all know this is part of the verbal abuse women suffer) That night, after everyone was going to bed, he was heard threatening another female with physical violence. These women are trying to escape this abuse. But the director decides to bring it to them in a place they should feel stress free and not have to worry about anything from anyone except getting their lives back together and healing. 3 days later, he was arrested and removed from the premises with a trespass warning and aggravated sexual assault charges due to him having raped the lady he threatened to harm. 4 of us quit the same day. That poor lady. I do not know if they still allow these people in there. I refise to work with them. They are violent exhibitionists who constantly need attention but unfortunately do not seek that attention from psychologists.

Actually if the victim was raped in the shelter I would think the victim could sue that director personally. Her assault was a direct result of his negligence. I hope she persues that idea.

@@wadestak We the People (speaking for California) did not vote for this. This bill was authorized by Democrat Senator Weiner (he's authors a bunch of sick bills) and signed into law by Newsom. We don't hear about this until it's a done deal most of the time.

An absolutely wicked judge we are dealing wiht presiding over our matters. She is a cruel judge. We have her in matter as disabled christian family that she is working hard wiht HOA predatory displacement. We have never missed a regular assessment payment but have filed a case breach of contract as thr HOA did not maintain the property and personal injury because the HOA has rettaliated on us severely for 6 yerars. She has vacted our trial date, she has denied reasonable accommodations and now refusal toi set hearing dates for filed motions. She has done heavy lifting for defendants not requiring them to file motions; then constantnly ruling against us. She even wanted my severely disabled sister to wait in the hall during hearing without coming in. A cruel, a wicked judge. We are trying for a motion for change of venue. Alameda County Superior Court the worst!
She needs to be held accountable for her actions. Time for her to go
