Without a doubt, the COVID pandemic turned our lives upside down with the loss and uncertainty of life. However, if there was ever a silver lining for me Sarah Matthews was that. I discovered her through my pandemic boredom and her creativity nudged me to explore printmaking and bookmaking---I have found my niche! I hope that 2022 will allow me to take an in-person class with her. Thank you, Sarah for sharing your talent.
I bought your "elephant" foamy a few years ago an absolutely love its' design. I just got your art address a few hours ago via Rubber Moon new owner of Art Foamies. I did purchase "Kimono" but until I saw more of your work I wasn't sure how to incorporate this stamp...I did see a snipet of you demoing on the ArtFoamies site but didn't get it UNTIL NOW!!! It feels so good to see your designs and I feel so at home with them. My grandmother would so very much approve. Your stamps are the ancient and spiritual. Thank You for sharing your talent.
This structure seems so complicated but your organized assembly was easy to follow. I'm encouraged to give it a try! I love your style too. Thanks for sharing with us.
And free therapy at that lol....well except for the cost of supplies. I have recently thrown out my own rules of trying to be conservative with my supplies after opening a container of Prima wax colorant and finding it completely hard! What’s the point of being stingy with your supplies if you eventually end up not being able to even use them at all right? So now I’m playing and creating much more frequently with all my supplies and it’s so freeing!
Love it! You make it easy to understand the assembly of a flag book, and your art is fabulous! Just discovered you through Creative Jumpstart 2021 and I'm thrilled to find you on RUclips. : )
