This is absolutely my favorite Wodehouse story. Lord Emsworth acting against all the stereotypes. Wodehouse writing about the “lower classes” so affectionately, so realistically. Nothing can beat this for social comment and for the celebration of human instincts
Michael Caine as Harry Palmer used this typical Cockney - Lingo in ,,The Ipcress File"...,,Yes Sir, Thank You Siir"....was how domestics spoke to their ,,Betters"! It was ironically funny...and for me the best Scene of the movie!!! Wodehouse Always found Exactly the right tone, and the ,,Mot juste"!!! And Stephen Fry is in A League of His Own.....Just Like Wodehouse!!!!

Wodehouse is brilliant and Stephen Fry is no slouch
I absolutely love these stories. And even more I love Stephen Fry. A play with language, of the best.
Thank you for bringing this gem.
