good point, another example would be in HAT format, in 2022-2023 everyone ran Cardcar over Hands in Artifact Traptrix, and it did very well cause 1 people brought a lot of different decks (which lose to artifacts), 2 not a lot of people played Hands (which CAT really struggles with) and also 3 the best player played it. Now because people have been running Geargia and HAT a lot, CAT is struggling a lot
Yeah meta shifts like that makes it really tough to have a concrete tier list for a format that holds up over time. Hopefully with Hat format becoming more popular we'll be able to see more demand for more frequent tier lists to track those meta shifts
I enjoy the tier list videos because I like hearing you reflect on tournament results and try to figure out what these results tell us, but I agree that the list itself is limited in its usefulness.
It's good to hear what people like the most out of the tier lists I've made so far so I can hopefully find a good way to approach them in the future so thanks for the feedback!
Tengu Plant is quite strange. As I remember last year almost every Toronto Time Capsule was dominated by Agents and Fabled Chaos however this year at the same series neither of the two can win an event (maybe thy won some, but certainly not most). By the way it seems something broke the bot in FL since it says that some Edison tournaments are won by a rouge Vayu Turbo
Personally, I think tier lists are quite easy to make. You put all the based decks at the top, and all the cringe decks at the bottom. Need I say more?
Hello Mr YGOFrom0, If subjective tierlists are not suitable, can you please make a tierlist that is indisputable and rooted in fact? I am thinking a waifu tierlist is a good option. Thank you
Maybe if we hit a high sub goal like 10k I'll make a waifu tier list, but I'm worried about the damage that sort of controversial and unvarnished truthtelling could unleash on a community that's as small as we are rn

Yeah Tengu is constantly shifting as people discover more about it, I'm curious to see how it will continue to evolve

True, why have many tiers when just two will suffice?
