As a predominantly solo gamer I really appreciate your solo playthroughs. They always showcase the game well and your explanations are clear, interesting and informative! I hope your channel continues to grow. You deserve all the success!
Thanks for taking the time to comment, it means a lot! I'm glad you enjoy the videos. I'm on hiatus right now after the birth of our daughter this summer, but hope to be back soon! If you do Discord, you can also find me in the One Stop Coop Shop Discord and I'm also on Instagram @purplemooseplays in the meantime for small updates on what I'm playing.
Really enjoyed this playthrough and review. I heard about this game on "Blackboard Gaming". Your description matches my expectations about the tactical puzzle and how it "twists the brain" to find a solution. The only polynomial game I have is "Isle of Cats" and I enjoy it. I mostly play solo, so your playthrough was especially relevant. Also I hope your video on Pentaquark can help me - I'm a total flop at that game and have never won it-never even close.. Looking forward to following you - subscribed.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, definitely check out the Pentaquark video. Someone gave me a tip in an online forum that I shared on the video that I feel really makes the endgame goal much easier to understand!
Thanks so much for this solo play through. I really appreciate your very thoughtful review at the end. It helped me decide to add The Grand Carnival to my collection. Just a quick note, were you forgetting that you could replace all the tiles on display whenever you choose a face down tile, or were you just deciding not to do it? There were times you seemed unhappy with the display and so I would have thought that to be a good time.
Thanks for watching, glad I could help you find a new game to enjoy! It's been quite a while since I made this video, so I'm not really sure, but it's very possible that I forgot. It's very easy to overlook things when you are recording while you play.
@@PurpleMoosePlays For sure...and I realize it has been a while. Was just curious if it was a strategic move or not. I'm hunting down a copy right now for an upcoming trip. Most of my other solo games are either too small or too big. :D
