I'm with you on its a difficult game! I've been stuck and replayed chapter 2 maybe 4-5 times now. I'm trying different things, but the card luck and the tightness of the design makes it feel so frustrating. Enough times the top scenario card has the perfect resource for the other character. I've lost count the number of times when I'll line up the resources to get ready to advance the scenario just to have the perfect crisis tokens forcing me to discard the resource. I'm sure I'm missing some strategies somewhere..but feels like I'm gambling until I get that one lucky hand to pass a chapter. I do see a few people mentioning their higher win rates so feels like I'm missing something. At this point though, I'm left feeling frustrated and kinda ready to cut my loss or house rule some thing to complete this. Edit: Fixed typos.
I got this one but haven't play past the First Scenario because I always forget to check the color triggers! So, I restart everything again hahaha Also the rulebook was really confusing and back when I go it no one had a tutorial @.@ One day I will try it again.
This was the first (and so far only) Button Shy game that fell flat for me. I thought the core gameplay was a little dull, which was disappointing because I love the designers other games, Rove and Sedlec.
I've seen about 6 videos about this game and it's the first one that takes the time to explain it clearly, excellent job.
Thanks, glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the play thru!
You're welcome, hope it was helpful!

Some of the unlockables help a bit, but I felt exactly the same way.
