Biggest thing I’ve learned this far is that you have to take advantage of the habit forming nature of our brains. Just by cooking up a little bit everyday it becomes habitual and improvement comes naturally. Now I just need to focus on set goals because I’m moving without direction at the moment

Great video bro, my goals are to be able to create better melodies, learn how to mix and reach an audience. I recently started producing went from knowing nothing to having a decent understanding but im trying to refrain from using loops most of the time to none of the time

Welcome to the open world of music production then! imo there is absolutely nothing wrong with loops; personally, I still use them to speed up my workflow. Plus, using loops saves up a lot of brain power and I use that to make the loop sound unique and create something new instead. For example, think of loops as samples to chop or sounds to add texture to your beats and add atmosphere. Nowadays, textures are essential behind good instrumentals as they add a bit of life to your beats. I'm still learning a lot after 4 years of producing but I'm only sharing what helped me a lot so I hope it helps you too!
