Fusion Forecast. It was on December, I think its the last one with the change a skill thing. It changed Megidolaon into Absorb Physical (I don't like Almighty skills due to their SP cost so I went on with it)
To my knowledge, yes you can create Izanagi again through fusion later, which is the only method of giving him powerful skills since his stops at a very low level because he's the starter Persona. I don't think there is any drawbacks in fusing him.
@ILoveMusic911 Helel is the ultimate persona in the Star arcana, you can fuse for Helel once you max out Teddie's social link. I don't know how to get Mara, though I know you can fuse for Mara.
Some personas can gain the ability to not only nullify a certain element, but absorb it as well. Since Margaret has a certain attack pattern, you can learn it and switch to personas that will absorb her next attack.

To fuse Izanagi you need to use Yomotsu Shikome and Obariyon I think, but to make Izanagi inherit those skills, you need to Defuse your most powerful Personas into those two fusion materials I mentioned above, I don't understand much either but I think that Defusion is about fusing a strong Persona with another of low level and let the resulting Persona inherit stronger skills that it would never normally learn, but remember, the only combination for Izanagi are those 2 so try it out
This fight is surprisingly easier solo then with a party for me. Didn't have to worry about 3 other people.. Just the setup and the patterns is all. Good stuff in part one!
I wish I still had this game, my sis took her copy with her when she moved out :/ I never got to the endgame and I was always wondering whether you could make the insane Absorb/Null-everything type personas like you could in P3. It took forever to fuse all the personas to accumulate absorb/null skills in P3, most of which had to be gotten in random skill-change level up events, but it was ludicrous once you had a persona that absorbed everything except Megido-based stuff.
i just realize something elizabeth and margaret crash card and that also goes for persona 4. In persona 3 they use guns... or at least something that looks like a gun called a evoker.
you gotta max it out BEFORE you defeat Adachi, also, you have to defeat all the other extra bosses in the midnight channel that appear in the dungeons, finally, you have to talk to igor BEFORE confronting the moel gas station attendant and the whole izanami scene
Margaret is almost exactly like her sis. She has a set "routine" she belives can kill you. All you need to do is memorize the routine, and you'll know what's comming just from the previous attack or buff she's done.

he meant the omnipotent orb, it's an orb that nullifies all except almighty damage (if you equip it she'll spam 9999 megidolaon) i think you need to visit the velvet room
Hassou Tobi from Yoshitsune is probably more powerful in the end with about 10 hits in a row, not to mention absorbing attacks is a very good thing to try if you know the next move Margaret's using, which Izanagi-no-Okami can't do.
Anyone else think they should have had different music that shifted each time Margaret had a blurb? Velvetroom and Battle for Everyone's Souls come to mind.
Hassou Tobi reminds me of how the viruses cut up your patients in Trauma Center, even the sound effects. Well I guess it stands to reason since both games were made by Atlus.

Yoshitsune is the only persona that learns Hassou Tobi and the skill cannot be inherited. Note that in this battle, not just Omega, but Margaret's Yoshitsune are the only personae that will use it.
My guess is he fused all those skills on to a strong Fool, then reversed-fused using Fool x Fool until it got all the way down to Izanagi, then just levelled like a madman. Pretty cool that he gets the original and ultimate Personas as part of his final team.
@AhhlkChaal Well if you don't mind the ethical issues surrounding it you could always use a emulator. I believe his name is now Yu Narukami, even Atlus I think mentioned that the name is canon (his other name was something beginning with S which came from the manga adaptation).

Narukami literally translates to "Roar above", a fitting name for a lightning spell. "Yu" translates to "Calm". So his name in the anime literally means "Calm Roar above". As in he is calm while his persona roars above him, perhaps? Very clever.

Dude your personas..... Make mine look like shit and kinda makes me feel like not finishing P3P. T^T (broken spirit) . But man P4 looks so sweet. I love the way you switch and summon perosna in this one. And the battle music is so...Soothing yet epic.
Ardha, you can make it by reaching level 90 and fusing Shiva and Parvati. Which means you need to max out Tower so you can get Shiva, but Parvati isn't too hard to obtain.

Since Minato and Souji's persona doesn't get a "transfiguration scene" (Well Souji did, but that was more like a cutscene) i was wondering if i could make their personas usable for a longer time. its possible you just need to be willing to sit there for a LONG time so that the moveset includes all of the null/ repel/ absorb skills. my yoshitsune could have been that way if i had the patience to sit there longer than i had but i settled for it with (in addition to the repel elec and light plus the null phys it has as default) absorb ice and absorb wind. its already resistant to fire and the only ways to take it out is with either dark or almighty, not bad tho i wish i waited for null dark

I don't understand why it plays I'll Face Myself during this fight. I also didn't understand why it played Unavoidable Battle when fighting Elizabeth in P3.
@sonicXP25 Being level 99 and having 999hp and sp doesn't assure you will win from Elizabeth. It takes careful planning and right set of skills to defeat her.
dont worry, nearly all of the SMT superbosses do that, but usually only once. they do that instead of having more health to fuck with players. after all, Atlus' unofficial motto is "we get off on your tears." they even confimed the motto in an interview.

Yesterday I beat her at the 3rd attempt[Expert] (first I tried SOLO, no luck. Second, I tried with Yukiko in party: KO with her over 9000 megidolaon and I used Rebirth Prophecy with one on her mini-Megidolaon. Then I try with all party: I'm not really satisfied, I think i'm gonna beat her alone): when she used Diarahan I looked the TV for like 5 minute without changing my facial expression, doing nothing. Damn Margacheater.
A norse god in black leather....right, that totaly makes sense. Although, The persona Loki for your character in P4 does not have Coctytus Pain: It has Niflhiem.

they generally have at least 3-5 times more health, if not more, than a final boss.

Arena is the sequel to Persona 4. Persona 3 and 4 are kinda related story wise and Arena brings them together
