Really excited to see this series continue. I loved the original campaign from last year and I tried to replicate it myself using first BECMI and then ACKS. But it proved to be a little too complex for me to enjoyably handle as I think I was just overwhelmed by the possibilities. But I’m trying again only this time I’m using Song of Blades and Heroes to handle the adventuring and dungeon delving with Dragon Rampant being used for the mass combat. I’m using BECMI & ACKS to populate the world. I’ve also starting smaller with a single 60km hex rather than doing what I’ve done before and trying to make a region the size of my home province right off the bat. Thanks for inspiring me to try a whole new approach to wargaming, looking forward to seeing how this campaign progresses!
@@macoppy6571 I made a couple mistakes that have been pointed out. We correct them in an upcoming video. Turns out it's cheaper than I've made it out to be.
Get those Blacksmiths making swords and all the laborers and craftsmen can form a militia if needed and since they have little fighting experience, the could be called scrubs.😀 Good to see ya back in the Wolflands again for a bit.
@@jeremyherndon2974 It's bigger than it looks, in Castle weasel has a few multi-story buildings that we can use to really pack them in. Would it help if we decided those were 10-ft squares?
can you do sea based hex crawls with the rules? Like if the party has a ship and then some of the hexes are islands or potential sea monster locations?

every aspiring warlord needs a good scribe

@ someone to write nice diplomatic letters to Roger’s potential enemies or subjects too

That budget seems almost too perfect 👌

I have three weapon makers on the roster, and they'll be churning out extras for sure.
Not sure that castle looks big enough to house that many men! Get comfy guys its going to be nice and tight in here.

I think the castle could use a few priests. Maybe a cathedral if the budget allows for it

Cooks?
Water source?
Trash removal?

@@charleslatora5750 All these are rolled into the costs.
Camp followers get paid by the troops.
If the Steiner's strike it rich, they could spend $ to decrease construction time (DMG pg. 106). The little way truly makes a difference in the world.
Can you post the print outs you use? I especially like the nested hexes and the multiple npc character sheet. I can’t find them online.
