    great! is there a minimum required length of SBC to supported? or just support a SBC regardless of the length?

      Thanks for your comment. The answer depends on the type of SBC. For simple cantilevered SBCs like the ones I showed in the presentation, the overall length should be minimised to reduce the risk. However for SBC which connect to a fixed point or which connect between 2 different main lines, the overall length must be ‘not less than a minimum allowable length’ as specified in the EI Guidelines. This length depends on the SBC branch diameter and the type of welded fitting e.g. Weldolet. Let me know if this answers your question. Regards, Neil
