Hey man I have been away from the channel and Octatrack pursuits for a few months. Glad you are going strong. In my time away, I went and got a pilot license from scratch - and it was easier than mastering the beloved Octatrack. I just needed a break from the OT to do something easier and actually feel some level of success.

I’ve been not writing with the octatrack, recently and weirdly over thinking b sections. And I’ve been pouring over how good FO’s arrangements are. As soon as you mentioned his name, I knew you had something I needed to hear. Thanks for the reminder of this. It’s also a lot of fun to mess with pitch with this technique.

Every time the closing track kicks in, I just love love love it. You couldn't have made a better song to wrap things up with and when the beat drops, it's just soooooo good! Stoked for your M8 video though I know the outcome. I'm enjoying it but also fumbling a bit, but not letting go. Curious of your thoughts though in video form!
