Oh my gosh. I've never heard this song before and it's punching me right in the heart. "I don't need the world to see... I don't think I could stand to be where you don't see me" almost sounds like it was written FOR this ending. Also the Narrator being "personified" by a little speech bubble is the freaking cutest thing - he has a "form" that can move around (canon) but is also literally just a voice (also canon). It's a perfect combination. I wonder if the devs knew how much beautiful art and emotional trauma this one ending would cause lol
Can't stop watching.. This is just so incredible. Every drawing and lyrics are so touching and it fit so well with Narrator's feelings..! Love your animation!!
me clicking into a TSP animatic using a mitski song, knowing damn well what that means: oh yay fun animatic :) me in the consequences of my own actions: curled up on the floor, sobbing, clutching my chest, wailing over a fictional british man with no body
Honestly, the skip button ending being a purest glimpse on how much stanley and the narrator need each other. I can understand why people ship them and why its portrayed in such a wholesome married couple vibes and im all in for it, probably the favorite pairing in the longest time.
This is so good. The skip button ending was honestly so sad, and oh man, this video really hit me in the heart. (Especially the part at 1:16.) The art is super pretty too!! I think this is one of my favorite TSP animatics, now. Surprised this only has 320 views, it should have way more.
This is so heart-wrenching in all the best ways. I especially love 0:40 and 1:16. The song is already so painful (and fits with tsp so well??) and with your art too it's all so beautifully devastating I love it. Gotta say your lineart and composition is *chefs kiss* satisfying to look at. Hope to see more!
Oh my god this is great! Love the way the Narrator is personified as a speech bubble thats so clever! The art has such a Stanley Parable feel to it, especially with that soft thick brush drawing out these sad scenarios. Also didn’t expect myself to crack when the “I miss you more than anything” part came on like OWWWW. God this illustrated the loneliness and isolation of this ending so well!
This animatic gives me a sense of dread and pain unlike any other that so incredibly captures the Stanley parable. The environments are extremely well drawn. Awesome job :)
I remember that the song "jobless Monday" there's a part that reminds me of this game, specifically the zending ending, I think it was the start of the song, rn I can't remember
I needed to pause the video at 0:31 to calm down and stop crying. I've only recently fully experienced Stanley Parable and I'm already feeling a lot of nostalgia for this game. I can't imagine what it's like for those who knew Stanley Parable when it was just a Half-Life mod.
OH MY GOD THE WAY I CRIED THROUGHOUT THIS JESUS THESE FELLAS MAKE ME SO FRAGILE MY GOD… my GOD. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔 beautiful art, beautiful song, beautiful execution bro this is phenomenal 😭😭🫶
Wow I love this so much!! The lyrics fit with the scene so well, and the artwork is amazing! I'm gonna go cry now, if anything floods you know what happened /j
dude im just seeing this now and this is literally so good?? it's kind of nostalgiac in an unexplainable way, i think it's the song even though i've never heard it before (defo snatching it for my playlist tho 👀) your art style never fails to be satisfying in its simplicity, and still very expressive. idk this little animatic is cathartic for me and im not sure why 😅
i watched the six hour no commentary run of stanley parable ultra deluxe earlier this week and i genuinely can't tell you how much this game still means to me after revisiting it. i had vague memories of endings in the original stanley parable-the apartment ending, the zending ending-but i can't tell you how much the skip button ending affected me when i first watched it. after it played, i just turned off my phone and sat in my room, at 3-4 in the morning. i'd been playing the video for a few hours now, maybe the whole day, laughing or gasping or vaguely remembering aspects of the game. but the skip button ending sort of took me out of that mindset for a second, that i wasn't "just" watching a gameplay video and listening to a precorded voice read a script, because it sounded so real to me. it was surreal, listening to the way the narrator talked, because i'd felt the same way as him so many times. it's just something people don't talk about, being on your own and not having anyone to rely on but yourself-but "yourself" isn't really a person, it's just your own thoughts being launched back at you in rapid succession, meaning nothing and everything at the same time because there's nothing else for you to reflect on. the way you depicted it invoked the same speechless fear listening to the ending did. fear, dread, joy, regret-similar to how mixing every color gives you this weird brown color rather than something expected like a rainbow, something you can articulate. i love romance, and stanley parable is geniunely the most romantic piece of content i've ever consumed. in the sad endings, the sadistic endings, the confused ones, the one thing that ties these seemingly nonsensical stories together is the fact that the narrator and stanley are the only people in the world that can make them happen. i can only wish that i could find someone to connect with and care for as much as the narrator does for stanley.
1:21 i like how it looks like despite all the positive acclaim it appears that the Narrator is only looking at the one thumbs down review, nice touch, if that's what's meant to be happening :3
This is so beautiful... In every way... The music, the lyrics, the drawings, the bit where the place around Stanley is falling apart... The Narrator looking at the comments about his game... All so, so beautiful Sorry if I don't have any other words to say, but I find this so beautiful, really.

Oh you HAVE to hear more of mitski! I recommend A Pearl, I Bet On Losing Dogs, Nobody, First Love/Late Spring, or Class of 2013!!!
Can't stop watching.. This is just so incredible. Every drawing and lyrics are so touching and it fit so well with Narrator's feelings..! Love your animation!!
I LOVE THE DETAIL OF STANLEY'S HAIR GOING GREY
Love how a simple wilted plant in a corner if a room can bring back so many bad memories all because of TSP.
Im not crying my eyes are just cosplaying as a waterfall
