First, NOONE can beat Immortals. Second, in fights like first one with ultralisk i think its better to place somewhere a hud with healbar of ultralisk to see the numbers. Third, make similar fight with upgraded Torrasque or Noxios vs not upgraded Zerglings, or Brutalisk, Omegalisk or else vs someone small, maybe even Broodlings with upgraded lifetimers. You know my 5 working braincells took a good few seconds to comprehend how those queens managed to beat the tanks at that cheap resource cost. It was the movement speed, real queens can barely move without creep. The Direct Strike engine seemed real confused for that fight, because as I understand it units have uniform speed until engaged in combat, and there were periods of time when the queens did indeed move incredibly slowly. But they were clearly engaged in comabt when they rapidly dashed towards the tanks, so why?
That tank fight was bullshit. Queens were running at full speed until they're almost in range of the tanks, then they slowed to their normal off creep speed.
They technically also shouldn't be able to transfuse off creep after the last patch. Think creep would be too much work to incorporate into the videos (haven't played much Direct Strike so Idk if creep is used in it at all).
That was tight for that Ultralisk, but I am glad to see his armor saved him. The only one I was surprised out was the Queens beating the Siege tanks. Third attempt for Fenix and Whirlwind Zealots vs Dragoon Fenix and Dragoons
@@legoupil1819 Gotcha. They just kept healing each other and kept slinging shots. And they do work. Lynchpin units for Terran I imagine are Marines, Medics, Siege Tanks, Thors, and Battlecruisers.
@@seanwhitman8353 honestly, even after 12 years, it’s hard to beat MMM. and once you add siege tanks, it’s borderline unbeatable if you know how to manage your eco. It’s how Clem made his fame
stalker blink really only helps out against melee or if the stalkers are at a critical mass where those that blink away can regen some shields by the time they get targeted again.
@@fabr1cat0rgeneral94 Sometimes if there's too many stalkers they will end up blinking behind the other army, immediately getting themselves killed by the enemies that weren't in range yet to start firing.
Stalkers and Immortals both have the same range, so it would be interesting to see if they'd fare better with a blink range of 1 - enough to force the Immortals to acquire new targets, but with less time wasted walking back into combat.
Seige tanks actually have pretty low DPS, they just have high damage per shot and splash. Hellbats are kinda high DPS, but again mostly a splash unit, and it's anti light DPS, when most died versus the armoured roaches.
Played a game once (ok maybe dozens of times) called zergling defense one of my favorite strats it to put an ultra with up to 3medics in a corner on hold position and it almost always wins
4/5 It'd be nice if you showed the price of upgrades still to show how much you'd throw down the drain sending Un upgraded lings against a maxed out Ultralisk. (Also, to show the upgrades and abilities of the 2nd set of units.) Immortal DPS was the Deciding Factor in that fight, Blink wasn't as help full. Those Roaches were needed for the Hydralisks to deal damage. With the Ghost removing them instantly, that meant the squishy caterpillar cows became Trophies for the Marines. Thor Anti air kinda Ridicc ngl Turns out Roach Bulk and Queen healing Beats out the strategy of blocking them with hellbat so tanks can siege up. Never again shall i underestimate Transfusion.
3/5 Bruh if there was ONE MORE ZERGLING- Christ, Immortals are STRONK. I thought the sheer number of Stalkers would have let their Zealots punch through faster, but gahd DAYUM God, I used to think Hydras were crazy strong but I swear they lose 90% of their battles. I never vote for them now. Oh, yeah. The new Thor anti-air is absolute madness. I figured the Roaches would do better, but damn those Queens really pulled through.
Sieged siege tanks do huge bonus dmg vs Armoured, so they shred high HP Armoured units, their splash dmg takes out low HP Light units; Queens have high HP and are Psionic instead of Armoured, that's why they could get close to the tanks
First 5/5, zerglings dealing 1 damage vs the ultra is insane. 2: always bet on immortals 3: ghosts counter both roaches and hydras lol 4: tempests dont have the clear speed and carriers the damage to take out thors 5: hellbats are bad
The protoss I find got nerfed significantly from the first game and I may be wrong but I don't think the carriers need to be that close to a unit to attack they can send their drones from a safer distance instead of parking themselves on top of the enemies lol.
The first fight definitely would have been in the Zergling's favor IF this was SC1 and not SC2 simply because in SC1 Ultralisks didn't have the ability to hit multiple models at once.
I actually got the queens wrong. I just assumed that they couldn't use transfuse off of creep. So yeah, didn't realize they were the older version of queens.
This just goes to show that 1. You SHOULD NOT let zerg reach late game(won 1 game, lost 1 game with leaving the terran at the edge) 2. Protoss is horrible for late game(lost both fights) 3. Terran would be a fair fight in late game but with the right strat, they'd be almost as rough as zergs This is gonna cause so much arguments...but i like it
Do... Do ghosts ever lose? Like, I don't play SC2 and have no investment in the meta but I think ghosts may be OP, I don't think I've ever seen them lose.
A Torasque Ultralisk with those stats and Tissue Assimilation would have not taken so much damage, and the Torasuqe part would have not made it seem as close.

The last battle would have been closer if you didn’t let the tanks go into siege mode. Not quite enough units clumped to justify splash, and deploying mid fight is never ideal.
I thought the tanks and hellbats would win the last one for sure, but the tanks d it didn't seem to do any damage to the queens; they probably did more damage to the hellbats.

I think the stalker blink doesnt work in the stalker's favor. Theres a lot of time the stalker is just not firing after it blinks.

Last time I tried this a 3/3 Ultra could take about 275 0/0 zerglings but that was a long time ago.

What if the zergling go in in waves from 2 or 4 sides, where you only get one layer of zerglings around the ultra at any time.

What did I learn from this channel? Protoss always lose. If the protoss won, then they fought against other protoss.
The one exception is if the Protoss have immortals. Always bet on immortals.
Unless they're facing ghosts. Always bet on ghosts.

3.3 second recharge time. They do massive damage to thors and battle cruisers but still aren't that great of a unit.
