“That point where edge in the trade turns into hope in the trade.” So glad to have found SMB, because no other channels talk about things like shot clock trading.
Dear SMB, thank you for listening to us and sprinkeling your videos also with some of the swing trade examples. Thank you for all you do, you are an inspiration and motivation for me, when the going gets tough.
Love SMB. This vid was so much better than most trading vids on YT simply bcz instead of showing an entire timeframe played out and then commenting, you commented BEFORE rolling the tape and then we could see how the play turned out. Very similar to what the best analysts do on ESPN, they show the players lined up, talk about how they should move and then they roll the tape. Nicely done. I especially liked and learned a lot watching the TSLA trade at 18:00
Thank you so much for this video, i've been slowly absorbing all the valuable information in most videos that i'm slow to watch them fully, this being an example. This is truly priceless from Jeff running through bar by bar. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, always appreciate all efforts that the firm puts in all the videos, super useful for me 🙏
Good clip Mike n Jeff. Thank you. The live prices and dialogue gave much more information and dynamic learning vs the power points. Nice format and look forward to more. Thanks.
I think I liked Jeff's presentations before someone told him to be more expressive and forceful in his presentation.. If this wasn't SMB, I might of kept scrolling.. BUT...excellent video!
First of all, thank you for all these information, the most pro channel I've watched so far. One question: what's another name for Shot clock or a synonym? I'm struggling to make sense of it, I understand it he concept, just need to understand the term....
Unbelievable, but I literally took the exact same tape trade on ACON. I hit the bid at 1.20 right before the huge bid was taken out so I got an entry at 1.20 and was immediately in the money. I set the stop at the reclaim of 1.20 and held it a bit longer for a momentum trade.
Is that last trade something someone on your desk would actually take? You’d need a sell stop to get filled at a decent price and even then there’s so little liquidity to get filled on there. Either that or you hit 1.13s and scalp for .05-.08, in which case you’d need to be whacking majority of that 1.13 bid to make it worthwhile. Genuine question , love the content 👍.
I was wondering when he said he was waiting to see the stock close avove the previous day high for the clock to be trigggered, does it mean he took the trade after hours??
On the AAP trade, you skipped over the very long intraday concolidation phase. It went sideways for a dozen bars, the first 5 or so are gently moving upwards. Is the 'shot clock' not coming into play here or is this part of the strategy where you'd wait it out into the close as long as we don't close a candle above the last breakdown candle high and the confidence in the catalyst is so high!? This would be a consolidation after which I'd personally get uncomfortable because it's just not breaking down further for so many candles.

One of the best videos to date.. I had to take notes.. bar by bar explanation of what should happen for each trade is top notch.
Jeff, thank you. I learned two things from you now. One, to see a trend at least to see 5 or more min consequence of bars. Two , the shot clock.
Jeff!!!!!! Thanks so much... excellent teacher... what i loved the most was the bar by bar examples... please continue with this Jeff.... awesome

8:35 Jeff, why are you using 65mins? why not 69min?
65 minutes gives you even bars through the day. if not, you have .5 of an hourly bar each day.
@@jeffholden3736 thank you, never thought of it that way!
Great vid!
