Thank you for the rant.. I can really relate to what you said. Being trapped with family is hard.. I live in a 3-bedroom house, part of a family of 6. Not that I don't like my family, it's just hard to cope being here. Everyone is stressed and trapped and we're all getting sick of being cooped up with each other. Fighting with my mom is probably the hardest.. we butt heads so much that she's pretty much disowned me at this point. I'm waiting for the day when we can have a lil more space. It'd be nice to have my mom back. Today, there's no water in my glass.. hopefully the day I have my mom back will be soon- I'm longing for a drink.
I'm part of a family of 8, my mother is mentally ill (she's better than she used to be) and my father tries so hard to keep his patience and keep up with his work load. My older sister had stepped up to take my mums role, and I have to fill the rest of the gaps e.g cooking every meal. My sisters boyfriend took the father role, and my older brother took the pain in the ass role that's always causing problems. My younger siblings (in my opinion) are extremely spoilt and complain all the time about everything. Today my father came to see me and started crying (it really hurts when parents cry) "I'm so lucky to have a daughter like you" he said and that means so much to me I'm crying. Quarantine has been hard on everyone. Luckily I am now out of quarantine, but I'm sure we're going to get a spike in cases and have to go back into lockdown so I'm seeing all my friends ASAP I really hope everyone's going to make it out (semi) sane.❤️❤️❤️

Everyone needs to hear this- everyone has bad days and people get mad at you and if it’s someone’s first impression they think you’re an awful person, but this song explains it all SO WELL
This song doesn't really resonate with me unlike the other songs, but it really reminds me of my friend. She's really 'pessimistic' and is usually angered/feels sad about small things, which makes her suicidal, and she has told me multiple times that she doesn't like going to our school counsellor because all they tell her is 'it's your choice to feel this way' when she tells them about the things that make her unhappy. This song made me realise that maybe, just maybe she's not just pessimistic, she can't help but feel like that. Good news though, she told me she's going to therapy in 2 months time and although she's not feeling great about it, I'm happy that she'll be getting some professional help instead of our school counsellors that don't seem to understand her point of view.
One way to help you see the good in life is imagine what the worst possible thing that could happen to you is, then imagine what the best possible thing that could happen to you is, then go somewhere in the middle and see that that’s where life usually operates. For me the worst thing that could happen to me is all the people I love either die or leave me, the best thing would be that my dad never abandoned us, the somewhere in between us only a few people I’m close to have died and my dad is trying to be in my life again. That’s not perfect, but it’s all that I can ask for, and I hope this helped those out there who are either pessimistic or the optimists that keep getting disappointed. Just cause things don’t work out perfectly, doesn’t mean they worked out the worst they could.

This song doesn't really resonate with me unlike the other songs, but it really reminds me of my friend. She's really 'pessimistic' and is usually angered/feels sad about small things, which makes her suicidal, and she has told me multiple times that she doesn't like going to our school counsellor because all they tell her is 'it's your choice to feel this way' when she tells them about the things that make her unhappy.
This song made me realise that maybe, just maybe she's not just pessimistic, she can't help but feel like that.
Good news though, she told me she's going to therapy in 2 months time and although she's not feeling great about it, I'm happy that she'll be getting some professional help instead of our school counsellors that don't seem to understand her point of view.

One way to help you see the good in life is imagine what the worst possible thing that could happen to you is, then imagine what the best possible thing that could happen to you is, then go somewhere in the middle and see that that’s where life usually operates. For me the worst thing that could happen to me is all the people I love either die or leave me, the best thing would be that my dad never abandoned us, the somewhere in between us only a few people I’m close to have died and my dad is trying to be in my life again. That’s not perfect, but it’s all that I can ask for, and I hope this helped those out there who are either pessimistic or the optimists that keep getting disappointed. Just cause things don’t work out perfectly, doesn’t mean they worked out the worst they could.
