The one female tried to shake the baby off her back when she was way up on the framework and the baby was over the edge, baby resisted as there was no place for her to go. once she got her ass over the framework the baby got off and then the female disciplined her with a press down and body shake. That kind of thing leaves a mark. That was a month ago I think.
@deadsmoke Genki hater ...that too but she was very protective of Kintaro , with all that crazy stuff Gentaro did kidnapping the baby. Genki is a great mom more than human mothers.
Are there any shots or videos with the baby Somo nursing with her bottle from the zookeeper? Is she's getting her additional nutrients since mom can't breastfeed😮 wondering mind😮???
It's ridiculous how they are being allowed to fight over Sumomo and treat her as a toy. Normally the mother would put a stop to it straightaway but the zoo never isolated them to re-bond. She could easily get hurt as they are very strong animals.
Remember that Sumomo is a gorilla🦍baby. She might not be running the 100-yard dash yet but she’s sturdy as an ox! The zoo did try a secluded mother-daughter re-bonding and it didn‘t go too well, perhaps because, after 10 months, mom wasn‘t producing milk, and she still wasn‘t perky in recovering from her anemia, didn‘t show much interest in mothering. She‘s raised all the baby‘s siblings and seems quite content with having them step in. Also, Haoko has an eagle eye out for any real trouble. So . . . nothing ridiculous going on here.🤗
Gorillas, unlike chimps, are very gentle with their offspring. A baby chimp that was born recently at a zoo, was killed by his family of chimps. Cause of death was “trauma.” Gorillas are not psychotic like chimpanzees and most of the time, are very kind and nurturing to their young, but with any group of mammals, some are better mothers than others.❤️🇺🇸
If you watched Kinny being dragged over the place and survived it all, you would know these little guys are made of steel or something. Kinny actually wanted to be with Gentaro. It think she will be fine, she’s made from the same family line. ❤️😂❤️
@@katewaterbaby I don’t think they reintroduced them like they normally do with separated baby and Mom and she was just put out with all of them. She may not even realize which is her real mother and that’s why she lets all but her big sister hold her without fuss. It would be hard to know if she truly understands. I mean that’s just my opinion.

Because mom is an old lady without milk and the sisters are stepping in to care for the baby and daddy Haoko is stepping out to protect her.
