For such powerful creatures, they are amazingly gentle.
Looks very familiar. Our 3 year old granddaughter just welcomed her new baby sister. She too is very curious but can be rough at times, so mom keeps a close watch on them.
Mom is doing her job, but big sis was being gentle, poor girl lol. Sweet

At the beginning, sister was all: “I’m-a jus’ sit over here an’ groom you...true story...nuthin’ suspicious goin’ on here...yep, I’ll jus’ look for any ticks, nits, lice, whatevs...nope, nuthin’ suspicious he...say, is that a baby you’re holding?? Why, I had no idea! I’m-a jus’ touch it...no reason to suspect any...damn.

Poor mommy! She has two daughters who will be driving her crazy trying to touch and kidnap the baby. God Bless mommy, she is very patient! My mother would have have knocked me into yesterday had i kept that up. Gorilla mothers are such patient and sweet with the older siblings wanting to be so close to the new borns. :-)

She will be kidnapping the baby all the time from mommy like her big sister did to her. It will be great to watch. Those sisters are so sweet to each other. They will be doting on the baby and give him/her lots of lessons in cuddles and play time.
