This is when you realize that Bruce doesn't make his own tea, not because he's lazy, but because he can't meet Alfred's standards.
I'd like to think it that way :)
One thing I'd like to have included is some mention of a handful of trusted friends in the Wayne Enterprises R&D engineers who help design some of the tech, funnel some of the equipment to Wayne, and who help get some of the advanced tech parts manufactured at the company in secret. Something like "Fox" from the Nolan series, but several people, not just one person.
Well, the man is British after all. High standards of tea is in his blood. lol
Some be picky where *T^E^A,* is concerned...
Well, he did say he works for Alfred.
You may be a Demi-Goddess and an expert in Combat but when it comes to tea, Alfred is the Omniscient 😃
God or goddess statue nothing, just stronger.
@@BruceWayne-je8yv batman cant take any joke
Loved this interaction with Diana and Alfred was very sweet.
One of Alfred’s best qualities, he’s fatherly to everybody
@@nightwing7820 I loved that about him too, even in BvS he was trying to be the voice of reason to bruce.
@@nightwing7820Is it just me, or is this version of Alfred a little too fond of whiskey? It seems that all the scenes I’ve watched of him in BvS and Justice League, he always has a drink handy. If so, it’s an interesting addition to his character; if I was sending my son out into Gotham night after night to beat down criminals for twenty years, I’d probably drink too…
@@robertbusek30 maybe Alfred usually is more of a tea lover
Gal's WW is well written. She's so mature, wise, empathic. It makes her stand out from others who have powers and equipment
She is not 5k thousands years old but she has a very good background from Amazons.
Indeed except for "KalEl NO!"😂
Well bad news James Gunn denies that Gal was booted playing ww. Hate those changes
lol her acting sucks here
Not in 1984
Cyborg was the heart of the story. He finally came out of the cradle and found his true purpose. He finally realized that there are others like him and he's not alone ❤️
He's my mvp in the movie and one of my favorite heroes.
Yeah but he looks ffing ridiculous. Tin man in 1939's Wizard of oz looked better
@@darrenhuntington7319 Yeah, I was hoping to see him in his Rebirth look from the comics.
isn't that exactly what happened with the Flash too?.. and Martian Manhunter?.. (even though his was SECONDS.. He has a similar ark)
You serious? He was the shittiest character in the entire series. lmfao.
"Imma footballer, Dad pay attention to me! What's that alien tech?! me angy REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE smash box!"
What a shitty origin story and a shitty character to start out with. Dude looks 38 years old and acting like he is 5.
He fucked himself up and should have died, he lives but should be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but then he then gets upgrades that he can change the look of at will, has unbelievable physical power and the ability to interface with the most advance tech and understand it.
He has the power to think faster than anything alive and can out process most alien super computers but instead he uses it to think about "oh woe is me I am a teenage edge lord".
Any character growth he has in the movie isn't to be appreciated, it is a penance for us as the audience having to sit through his story, lmao.
It’s insane and stupid how Warner Bros apparently didn’t think this material was “light enough” or enough fun. This is genuine character interaction and unapologetic, straight from the JL cartoon.
That's because Warner Bros didn't simply care. All they wanted to do was appease the critics and a minority of audiences who constantly complained about Snyder's dark tone and his films not having enough humor. Instead of trusting the director and just trying to make a solid justice league film, they'd instead tried to emulate marvel and it backfired. As you stated, this scene along with plenty of other scenes throughout the film had great character interactions. WB saw these scenes and the only thing they were thinking about is more jokes and how can we make the film more lighthearted. So lets just add a ton of pointless reshoots that weren't even better than Snyder's original scenes and call it day.
This is also a 4 hour movie, something that could never have come out in theaters. Imagine cutting an hour of screen time from this film, and think about what the film would have been like.
@@nikunjdixit1175 Should have made it Part 1 and 2 Kill Bill style, release it separately six months apart. Then release the 4 hour cut on Blu Ray, 4k, VHS, etc.
@@memecliparchives2254 Well, the first half of ZSJL is just various characters just doing their own thing. Its not like it was made in a way where it would work as 2 movies.
Yeah agreed. The Snyder Cut has character interactions that feel genuine and works well to humanize these incredibly powerful, mythic superhero archetypes. The Whedon cut adds in a lot of shitty humor that feels really unnatural and instead leads the characters to ironically seem a lot more unrelatable. The humor in the Avengers worked, the humor in JL didn't, because one was well-written, and the other wasn't.
1:20 "Maybe you should work on a lasso, too?" We all know Batman don't need lasso for getting the truth
It’s so they can role play on bondage.
I love how Diana subtly throws a dig at Bruce about how he “copied” her style
@@EricGraham94 alfred and batman are doing proper engineering, diana was just given those equipments
@@egeerdem8272 Yes but Bruce got the idea when he saw Diana’s gauntlet.
@@rogelioarmentasolorzano3848 energy dissipation is hardly a novel concept in engineering, the problem is actually doing it
since bruce developed the tech from the ground up himself with alfred, he knows more about it than that dumbass diana who was just given the thing by some magical bs
Alfred out here being like, ‘I got one purpose in the franchise and no is taking that from me’ with his tea
Alfred’s one purpose is to serve Batman and his new friends so that they can focus on saving the world. Making tea properly is a small but important part of that mission. Plus, I think he ships Bruce with Diana, so he’s being a good wingman…
Cyborgs performance was just out of the park!! I bought the first edition of New Teen Titans comic in the early 80s, and this guy embodies what I pictured him to be on screen. Not that Teen Titans go nonsense on TV that my kids seem to like.
I like how she isn't threatened by the technology Alfred is working on. Goddess level.
It's because it's a technical version of her gauntlets
She proudly stands with her twins as her shield.
@@mikewhocheeseharry5292 giggity
@@Pointman11111giggITy😂
@@Pointman11111jeez I read it with "his voice"
I feel like Alfred is quite aware that this woman is ancient but out of deference to decorum he has to lecture her even though he clearly respects her...bc... tea 🤣
We all have our purposes in life. Alfred sees his as serving others. By doing so, he provides a sense of normalcy and stability to a man who (let’s face it) is incredibly unstable. This scene shows that he’s basically accepted the other League members as his responsibility. This is why Alfred is a total badass…
GAL GADOT IS OUR WONDER WOMAN!!!
It was a mistake not to expand Zack’s vision for Justice League.
It was not just a mistake it was a crime by WB
Zack Snyder recently said that JL2 takes place 10 years into the future, so who knows maybe in 10 years we get the snyderverse
Just this one modest scene eclipses anything Whedon did.
Gal is criticized to harshly for her acting I loved how Wonder Woman is a strong character but not afraid to be vulnerable
Gal is the best version of Wonder Woman, cannot replace her
I like the little smiles she gives when she fights Steppenwolf. It reminds us all that she’s doing what she was born to do.
I still think her acting is acceptable, definitely not bad
Most had issue about her bust size, But she shut them with the awesome portrayal of WW
LMAO funny thing is diana is actually the oldest out of all of them shes a demigodess
5000 years old
@@NJ-eo2oc5000 and a few years
I like these long clips of this movie, Flashback dudes.
Imagine cutting this out because “it’s not fun”
Warner really done goofed up with DCEU
I like this Alfred a lot. I hope WB has the sense to keep Jeremy Irons
Cyborg had some type of perfume and garmets in bag that's what had her grinning
I wonder if this represents Jeremy Irons’ own feelings about how to properly make tea, because in the UK the question of whether to put the water or the tea into the cup first is hotly debated. No less a personage than George Orwell weighed in on this in an essay called, aptly, “A Nice Cup Of Tea.” Quoting Orwell now, “ Tenthly [because in Orwell’s view there were no less than eleven different factors that went into this], one should pour tea into the cup first. This is one of the most controversial points of all; indeed in every family in Britain there are probably two schools of thought on the subject. The milk-first school can bring forward some fairly strong arguments, but I maintain that my own argument is unanswerable. This is that, by putting the tea in first and stirring as one pours, one can exactly regulate the amount of milk whereas one is liable to put in too much milk if one does it the other way round.
We need You ... said in sweet gal's voice... ☝️😊
Aldfred must really like tea!
Of course he does, he`s British! We built an empire on the stuff! Lol!
This woman has lived 5,000 years and can't make a tea
Oh she can, just not the proper way.
@@robertbusek30even a 5000 year old is no match for a British man when it comes to making tea
Love the cups
The Brits and their tea. 😂
Yes because the pain from losing a man you met for one week is comparable to having 90% of your body turned into alien tech & your parents dead. Sure, Diana. 😂
Diana had been sheltered before the events of her solo film. It's when she met Steve Trevor that she gets to see the outside world.
I don’t like Snyder’s movies, Snyder Cut included. BUT… these are excellent performances by Gadot, Fisher, and Irons. So glad they released this version where we get to see how good they are.
