Great tip on the Lesco Mosquito Free! Wouldn't have found it without this video. It's a much better deal than the fully diluted products out there. And I got the same deal on the fogger from Direct Tools Outlet. I actually found your video when I was debating whether to jump on that deal or not LOL. Glad I did. Thanks for the tips!

I noticed his wooden fence did not have a 'rot board' at the bottom. The purpose of a 'rot board' is to be replaced when the fence gets old. It is better to replace the 'rot board' than all of the bottoms of the fence boards.
Yes I agree, it doesn't look like he is fogging but just spraying.

I bought this fogger to spray mosquitoes, and long story short, just don’t waste your money. Not only does it kept getting stuck randomly because the pick up can’t spray consistently, the spray volume is also very low. I sprayed for an hour+ for 2 weekends straight and still have 1/4 left. Just get a proper sprayer that’s capable of 80-100 psi. You can also try the mosquito sniper system to use with a leaf blower. I have both and ended up just using a backpack battery powered 100psi sprayer.

@@vinstinct You know what I did get a sniper system with my ego electric leaf blower and it was not necessary, the 100 psi backpack sprayer was enough. With about 3 tank of 5 gallons I was able to spray my entire front/back/side yard twice. The spray is strong enough to not needed the sniper system, and the backpack itself has a mixing feature so you can either have it mixed and spray, or do both at the same time. (LANUEVA 5.28 Gallon Battery Powered Sprayer with Mixing System). I bought it when it had zero reviews, it worked well.

@jeffsond I don't have anything to compare it to. This is the only fogger I have owned, but it works pretty well. One bottle of the Cutter Mosquito fogger lasted me about 6 walks around my property. My property is not huge, but to cover 1/3 acres 6 times wasn't bad. It doesn't fog as much as a propane one, but it does great for a "cold fogger."

The ryobi fogger is garbage. Gotnit hoping I would not experience the negative comments. No such luck. It works 30% of time. Had to shake it side to side to fog. Followed directions exactly. Worked for first 3 mins then barely comes out. Used 3% mosquito barrier solution in water. So it was like water. Went back to HD. Save yourself the grief.

I just purchased one of the Ryobi "foggers" a few days ago and it doesn't work unless you shake the thing the entire time that you spray. Not sure if it is just a bad unit or not but I would not recommend the unit. Now trying to get Ryobi to answer a support email for the past week but not a peep from them yet.

I would not recommend anyone buy this thing, my wife got me one for my bday about 3 years ago...It claims 15 ft spray, at best it's around 5ft...Also, the 2ah battery it comes with doesn't even last for 2 tanks, which means can't even run a gallon through before having to recharge...I guess that's ok if you have the ryobi platform and have spare battery, but I don't buy ryobi tools, so had to wait and hour to finish 2nd tank...Also, I have used it about twice a year at best, and here we are at spring of year 3 and it no longer pumps the water, so have only used it 4 or 5 times...Also I have always run clean water through it after spraying the insecticide to make sure it was clean and didn't gum up for the next use...Guess it's back to the good old pump sprayer...

    • @hawkhawkins2275

@@lilfleck87 Not sure, never really timed it, maybe 5 minutes, 10 tops...On the 2ah, if you have other Ryobi tools I'm sure it would last much longer on a 4 or 5 ah battery if you had one...

I got one and paid next to nothing for it. I am banking on it not working so that I can rip in to it and fix it. I am sure that nearly all of the problems that it has with it are cheap parts that likely can be sourced off the internet.
The pump getting gummed up is likely bits of rust forming on the parts inside. Sitting for nearly a year wet inside likely causes that. So its likely best to stick a batter in it from time to time.
The only working when level very well could be that there is a pick up hose problem.
Not shooting far could be a restriction problem. When I first started it up it shot out in a long stream. Then I tried it again and it began working. I tested it several times and seems to be working.
I do wonder if there is a restriction, regulator or some other sort of things.
I do think that most of the problems can be fixed.
