Great tip on the Lesco Mosquito Free! Wouldn't have found it without this video. It's a much better deal than the fully diluted products out there. And I got the same deal on the fogger from Direct Tools Outlet. I actually found your video when I was debating whether to jump on that deal or not LOL. Glad I did. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for this!!! Just picked one up. The amount money we spend on tiki fluid and thermocell refills is unbelievable. Ready to go to war against those bloodsuckers next spring
Just picked up the identical Hart 20V kit for $20 from Ollies and originally just planned on junking the fogger and keeping the 2.0AH battery & charger but I might give the fogger a shot during the spring/summer with some mosquito stuff.
I noticed his wooden fence did not have a 'rot board' at the bottom. The purpose of a 'rot board' is to be replaced when the fence gets old. It is better to replace the 'rot board' than all of the bottoms of the fence boards. Yes I agree, it doesn't look like he is fogging but just spraying.
I bought this fogger to spray mosquitoes, and long story short, just don’t waste your money. Not only does it kept getting stuck randomly because the pick up can’t spray consistently, the spray volume is also very low. I sprayed for an hour+ for 2 weekends straight and still have 1/4 left. Just get a proper sprayer that’s capable of 80-100 psi. You can also try the mosquito sniper system to use with a leaf blower. I have both and ended up just using a backpack battery powered 100psi sprayer.
@@vinstinct You know what I did get a sniper system with my ego electric leaf blower and it was not necessary, the 100 psi backpack sprayer was enough. With about 3 tank of 5 gallons I was able to spray my entire front/back/side yard twice. The spray is strong enough to not needed the sniper system, and the backpack itself has a mixing feature so you can either have it mixed and spray, or do both at the same time. (LANUEVA 5.28 Gallon Battery Powered Sprayer with Mixing System). I bought it when it had zero reviews, it worked well.
@jeffsond I don't have anything to compare it to. This is the only fogger I have owned, but it works pretty well. One bottle of the Cutter Mosquito fogger lasted me about 6 walks around my property. My property is not huge, but to cover 1/3 acres 6 times wasn't bad. It doesn't fog as much as a propane one, but it does great for a "cold fogger."
I heard those issues before I bought it but figured for $30 it was worth a shot. I’ve used it a handful of times and haven’t experienced any leaking or not fogging.
I just purchased one of the Ryobi "foggers" a few days ago and it doesn't work unless you shake the thing the entire time that you spray. Not sure if it is just a bad unit or not but I would not recommend the unit. Now trying to get Ryobi to answer a support email for the past week but not a peep from them yet.
Can i use Bifen with this Ryobi Fogger / Mister? I read stuff that Bifen needs propane foggers etc. is it too thick and needs to be water down? Has anyone tried Bifen cuz thats pro grade ish?
Just ordered one off of amazon. How often do I have to fog? Would once every week suffice? I am getting the Black Flag insect fogger fuel to go with it, since I read that it was the best chemical to use.
yea it does make a lot so should last you a long time and it is good stuff. I have a hookup at site one, if i didn’t i’d probably go with something cheaper.
The ryobi fogger is garbage. Gotnit hoping I would not experience the negative comments. No such luck. It works 30% of time. Had to shake it side to side to fog. Followed directions exactly. Worked for first 3 mins then barely comes out. Used 3% mosquito barrier solution in water. So it was like water. Went back to HD. Save yourself the grief.
I would not recommend anyone buy this thing, my wife got me one for my bday about 3 years ago...It claims 15 ft spray, at best it's around 5ft...Also, the 2ah battery it comes with doesn't even last for 2 tanks, which means can't even run a gallon through before having to recharge...I guess that's ok if you have the ryobi platform and have spare battery, but I don't buy ryobi tools, so had to wait and hour to finish 2nd tank...Also, I have used it about twice a year at best, and here we are at spring of year 3 and it no longer pumps the water, so have only used it 4 or 5 times...Also I have always run clean water through it after spraying the insecticide to make sure it was clean and didn't gum up for the next use...Guess it's back to the good old pump sprayer...
@@lilfleck87 Not sure, never really timed it, maybe 5 minutes, 10 tops...On the 2ah, if you have other Ryobi tools I'm sure it would last much longer on a 4 or 5 ah battery if you had one...
I got one and paid next to nothing for it. I am banking on it not working so that I can rip in to it and fix it. I am sure that nearly all of the problems that it has with it are cheap parts that likely can be sourced off the internet. The pump getting gummed up is likely bits of rust forming on the parts inside. Sitting for nearly a year wet inside likely causes that. So its likely best to stick a batter in it from time to time. The only working when level very well could be that there is a pick up hose problem. Not shooting far could be a restriction problem. When I first started it up it shot out in a long stream. Then I tried it again and it began working. I tested it several times and seems to be working. I do wonder if there is a restriction, regulator or some other sort of things. I do think that most of the problems can be fixed.
You're not fogging anything, that's just misting. You'll ruin that sprayer with cedarwood oil. Bad advice from someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
It's a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY! I've had 2 and they have both leaked horribly. Works well the first few times then leaks. Multiple videos about this same problem are posted.
So, it's perfectly safe for kids and pets, so put on the full chem gear with mask and everything and freak out the neighbors. Have them wondering what toxic chemicals you are spraying around the house. 😂 I was just wondering what this was when it came up on fb marketplace.
Dads better sit up and pay attention to this deal , lots of Bill Gates mosquitoes being dropped off on cities in Southeast and Southwest! Great dad deal 👍💯🌎❤️
It doesn’t really create a fog does it? More like a very thin spray.

awesome, glad i could help. The mosquito free is great stuff 👍🏼
I bought one of these a while back. It's been helpful for mosquito control.
which product do you use in it?

I bought a screened in portable tent and that took care of my mosquito problem

Something I can use to ward off all teh bugs that our area neighbors do not keep yards clean nice product
Try cedar wood oil mixed with poly acrylic acid. Or try suspend and fast cap.
Great review,thanks.
Today 08/28 at home depot I picked it up for $28 need to test it
wow at home depot? great deal!
Can I use neem oil

Where do purchase the mosquito sniper from?
@coreydixon4056 their website, check the description of the video for a link and promo code
I ended up following a mod for this unit to allow more fluid to go through. It was soooooo slow before.

Does it heat up the chemical?
Mine would not spray at all
Have you heard of anyone who has issues such as just not misting and instead leaking all around tool etc.?

great day! would it make a difference if i use electrostatic sprayer for my plants? mygreathanks and bleesings
picked one up on woot for $9.99
would a chemical sprayer work instead of a mister
75 dls for cedar wood oil??
Thanks for the video
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Can i use Bifen with this Ryobi Fogger / Mister? I read stuff that Bifen needs propane foggers etc. is it too thick and needs to be water down? Has anyone tried Bifen cuz thats pro grade ish?
check out the mosquito sniper video i recently did. A much better system and you can use bifen with it.
Yes, you can use Bifen i/t. It is not thick at all, when mixed properly, i.e. 4 oz. per gallon of water.
Just ordered one off of amazon. How often do I have to fog? Would once every week suffice? I am getting the Black Flag insect fogger fuel to go with it, since I read that it was the best chemical to use.
yea, I did it about once a week during the summer here in the south
Thank you:) looks like a hell of a deal & money friendly
That repellent cost tho 😮💨😮💨😮💨
yea it does make a lot so should last you a long time and it is good stuff. I have a hookup at site one, if i didn’t i’d probably go with something cheaper.
It doesn’t look like it fogs at all. Looks like it’s just spraying
Follow up! How’d this work for the rest of summer. Device still wirkjngv
still going strong!
I sent it back. It would spray intermittently even when held level. Would not recommend.
I would say from the look of it; it looks like it's just SPRAYING not fogging. There looks to be very little fog.
Wish they make bigger with 40volt
Had two, they leak
No! Mine leaks badly
That's not actually creating fog, that's just spraying mist. it's supposed to create a fog cloud.

they want 400 in nz
Save your money and just get a hose end sprayer. Faster and more efficient...
does not look like fog to me. looks like it is simply spraying liquid. That is not fogging! That is like use an electric hand spray bottle!
Oh my put some termidor in it treat under the house ,trees, and grass no insects for 6 😂

Ryobi, please stop making this piece of junk. This thing leaks, no mater the water level. Worst purchase ever!!!
Can’t tilt it or that will happen
crazy mine leaked
@@joeferrara4580mine still leaked without tilting it
Don’t waste your money. Bought one, used it once and it never worked again without leaking. Ryobi rep sent a replacement …replacement sucked worse.
That’s spraying not fog will still do the work

It's all a conspiracy mounted by Ryobi , they bribed Billie to develop those mosquitoes in order to sell tons of foggers 🤑🤑🤑💯
Don’t buy this….it sucks
I don't know how ryobi gets away with this piece of platic crap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$.
It looks useless.
Where is the fog? Because I don't see any.
