I use an estrogen patch and take progesterone. Do I stop the progesterone (for 7 days) when I have my period? Thank you for educating us where our Drs fail to!❤

I'm post menopausal and have only used topical progesterone. It does show in my lab work. I have healthy progesterone levels verified by blood work just using topical application.

I have a similar question. In perimenopause, is it more efficacious to take P4 in a cyclical manner, the last 2 weeks of my cycle?

I have also read it can be administered via suppository in the rectum to avoid the components that can cause the side effects of depressed mood and lethargy.

I'm 52 - diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at age 29. I'm taking trans vaginal (premarin) cream but also want to know if I can use wild yam at the same time. Premarin has improved dryness but not night sweats
