- Track 05 from Star Trek Insurrection
This is another great Star Trek Soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith, although it is more light hearted than First Contact it still works for a Sci-Fi Action film.
All rights belong to Star Trek, Paramount, Crescendo records and Jerry Goldsmith
Star Trek just makes you think... When I hear this beautiful piece, you just think. You think about the future and about life. Star Trek has opened my eyes and inspired me to change the future for the better.
The part from 1:31 on is where Geordi finds out that his eyes have regenerated and gets to see a sunset for the first time, upon which he starts crying tears of joy. Its among one of the most touching scenes in any of the Star Trek films.
This song always comes to my mind whenever the clouds are red outside.
im completely in love with this soundtrack
I read the Film Tracks website review of this score and they made the point that the music at 19 seconds is the same motif used in 'The Final Frontier' and 'First Contact' (the four note motif that is heard during the great barrier crossing scene and the re-appears during the 2nd TNG film. I've just recognised that this is in fact the case. The motif is re-worked, but it is the same motif.
Of all the Star Trek movies, Insurrection had the most beautiful score! This was kinda the love theme for Picard and Anij. I've managed to teach myself how to play this up till '00:55'. If you're interested I can supply you with the keys.
Star Trek Insurrection was more about making a character driven film that was about the aesthetic beauty of living a simple life style. While it didnt go down great with everyone, I myself consider it my favorite.
I did at one point, but since last January when I painted my room, I seem to have misplaced it, as well as a few other relatively minor things. Sorry. I'll have to reteach myself and then I'll see about sending it on to you. If you have a piano keyboard, it's fairly easy to teach yourself.
@frogambassador Piano. Of course, now I can't find the sheet of paper I had it written down on anymore! T_T
Just here for music GCSE homework, Think it's kinda boring, but peaceful
