Awww thank you! I’m happy you found it useful. This was my first video in English and I was afraid people wouldn’t like my accent, thanks for your kind words! 🤩
I thick this is a fantastic video in depth explaining especially with the aid of stitch markers, as you know where you are I tried so many times to make an oval without success I think maybe I can make my granddaughter her doll bassinet. Many thanks
Thank you for a well explained tutorial. You made it sooo easy to understand. Thank you beautiful lady 😊💐🇨🇦 Also I think you would do very well doing more tutorials. Please do 😬
That's a very good tutorial video. Congrats. I have a question on this method. Let's say I wanna do 6 chains initially. How the number of chains will affect the number is stitches at the corner? What's the proportion? Thanks in advance.
Thanks ☺️ If you do 6 chains the oval will be more round than oval. In the corners you will have the same ratio of increase, but of course with less stitches. If you need to, I can write you down the pattern for some rounds. ☺️
Hi! The pattern for the oval in the video is written in the description below the video. Then in the description you also find the link to my oval baskets where the count is different because I used thinner yarn for the baskets and I wanted to be more oval than circle. I hope this makes sense. ☺️
@@jameevineyard1528 in the video it’s just a sample to make you understand the process. If you follow the pattern at the link in the description you can create a little basket with it.
It really depends on which type of yarn you’re going to use. If you use the yarn I used for the basket (cotton 8/8) I would say at least 35 initial chains.
@@number2gurl ok, so I think that 30 or 35 initial chains should be ok, but it’s difficult to say without seeing the yarn. Maybe you can try to do a couple of rounds, you measure from the center to the top of the second row, so you know roughly how big it can become.
Oh I’m sorry! Wasn’t the video clear? Is there a specific part you were stuck in? It might be helpful to watch the video while following the written pattern that is in the description ☺️ Let me know if I can be of help ☺️
Thank you so much, this is the best tutorial I've seen because all the others I've seen only used 1 stitch marker and i lost track. Again thank you

What size is this for???

How many stitches would I need to make a place mat

@@elendipity iam using cotton yarn
@@number2gurl I understand, there are many types and size of cotton yarn, do you know the size?
