This song and album should have been successful all over the world. So underrated. Belinda Carlisle is amazing.

No argument there. I am not fond of Belinda Carlisle, but..... I always give credit where it's due. One can learn from anyone & everyone.

Problem for her in the US is that pop music moved to either rap/hip hop or grunge and alternative in the 90' s. At the time Alanis Morisette and various other female Gen X singers were dominating with that alternative rock genre.

One of my favorite Belinda singles of all time. It sucks that American radio ignored her after her 3rd solo album, but I made it a point to continue to follow her regardless of if I heard her on the radio or not.

Oddly enough Australian radio played this one song constantly over 20 years ago. It made me fall in love with her music as I was too young to appreciate it in the 80s.
Here on Brazil I listen to this song at the Antena 1 radio a few days ago and its amazing, on the same day I searched for this song, and shes beautiful.
This is one of my favorites.
Aus radio still plays it regularly. I've heard it like 3 times in the last week on 91.5 smooth FM. That's why I'm here. They reminded me of the song and now it's stuck in my head and I needed a fixed. Lol.
