It is interest to discover that poor people are kind and show empathy to those who need help. Unlike rich people with so much look down on poor people. God bless people who show kindness. Like this elderly man who has not much but feeel compassion towards this elderly woman. His action resulted in blessing he received from the old lady and her family. We can make this world a better place if we do the same thing that Jack did, show empathy.
Statistics show that middle and lower income people give a higher percentage of their income to charity than upper income and the wealthy. Multimillionaire Al Gore and his wife, per his income tax form when he ran for president, donated $1 a day to charity, a whopping $365 a year. Bill Gates organized mosquito net distributions in Africa, but they were purchased from a company that he owned........and there are so many others that are no better.
Good narration of the story.. Straight forward, no repetitive of situation and words of description, no redundancy, putting your readers to take a moment to think and wonder where the story is leading.. Yours is simply good to clamor clinging for the next of your voice.. for more.. Thankz NIC J... Here from Philippines ThankYou for bringing up this story inspiring me to be a better person for others too.. ❤
4:46 AM. Why can't they be? If they are all true, and I believe they are, then I think there's hope for human beings as a whole! If you react the way the elderly gentleman did, and I treat people that way, then it is true. Behaving with empathy and compassion makes this all true, because all of this begins with 'Me'! And it continues and goes around with your 'Me ', then the person next to you with their 'Me '! Etc; it all becomes contagious! This is already happening throughout the world, one needs only to join in, it's called 'hope '.oftentimes it can just be a smile and a 'hello ' to a passersby. Perhaps you may not feel crappy one day, but you can manage a nice big smile and offer a warm 'hello ', that says it's good that you are alive today. Just that simple action, along with looking a person in the eyes is contagious. That simple action can reckonize one's personhood, it could say that you matter, that they matter! Pass it along and that defines 'hope!' Hope for all of us! Yes, I believe those stories, I believe in us!

The music is annoying
I live in chicago, the gold cost clientele is never treated like. if that is true, what restaurant is that?
Your story is unreal; cannot understand Jack's indecision...
So a few dollars paid for a meal in an up scale restaurant ? I don’t think so
😊
Stop repeating issues like..."Can he trust her?" It makes the story unreal...
Goes on much too long with endless fillers… just cut to the chase…it’s a lovely story but I got bored with it after 10mins
