The 7 piece metal alliance scored worldwide ten Top 10 chart entries including #1 in Germany and Spain, Top 3 in Austria and Switzerland and impressive total of seventeen Top 15 rankings all over the world. Fans, journalists and experts agreed: with 12 tracks “HELLOWEEN“ manifested an entire Metal-Universe.
No reason to sit back: with the clip for “OUT FOR THE GLORY“ the next exciting coup is coming as the successful year is ending. "I had an idea for a video where all band members are depicted as dinky, odd noble courtiers and ministers" Michael Weikath explains. "All of us should be floating in the clouds, Deris as a nutty emperor…and after a while more and more details came up and at one point in time we wrote everything down and sent the video concept to the Australian animation team".
Aaron McLoughlin, Senior Lecturer at RMIT University in Melbourne, who has already been involved in several projects with Atomic Fire Records CEO Florian Milz (e.g. for Children Of Bodom, Alestorm, Tankard) mentioned: "When I heard that HELLOWEEN is interested in a collaboration I was totally gobsmacked. The boys are my absolute heroes since I was a teenager and I was sure that my students would love to work on a song by this band."
And typically HELLOWEEN - the creativity was so outrageous that it was impossible to feature everything in one music video. "Seven and a half minutes might not sound like a lot but in animation terms it is a marathon. We had so much great stuff that the production of “OUT FOR THE GLORY“ was a real challenge. Weiki wanted the video to look as cute as possible and we immediately knew: A legendary band from the other side of the planet wants us to create a medieval epic full of cuteness? You bet!" McLoughlin recollects.
With a bit over 10.000 frames the iconic animation short movie is not only extremely elaborate, but also wicked and spacy, will cause a commotion and hopefully also a lot of fun and enjoyment. As Michael Weikath wishes with a twinkle in his eye: "I now expect that everyone will enjoy this and think it is funny and also that they see the signification!"

I'm 53 years old, heard ALOT of metal in my years but Kiske is still the only singer that can give me goosebumps the moment he starts singing. Seen Helloween ages ago at Monsters of Rock with Kiske and that impressed me for life. Helloween rocks again, thank you for being awesome during my life and getting back to your roots! This indeed sounds like old time Helloween.

Just a little correction: Helloween STILL ROCKS. They haven't NEVER EVER stopped rocking (even with their less beloved albums, Pink Bubbles Go Ape and Chameleon).

When I first listened to this album and the verse of "Out For The Glory" started, I got teary-eyed. It was very emotional to finally hear Kiske singing one of those signature melodic Weikath tracks. Kiske's voice always sounded perfect for his songs and this was no different. It was absolutely perfect and arguably the best song off the new album

@@brendeo1234 It felt so good! Especially the production. As a Maiden fan I was very disappointed by the dull sound of Senjutsu, but I think Helloween proved how a metal album should sound in 2021. That analogue production is heaven!

The moment when Weiki crowning Andi is soo symbolic - for me it reminds the fact that the band was almost gone when suddenly Andi came to save it by accepting Weiki's invitation 👑

The driving Guitars at 1:04, the fantastic "Helloween" typ melodies with Kiskes famous vocals at 1:17, Kai's unique voice 2:30 and Screams 4:00 in interaction with the chorus, again at 5:40. For me one of the best Helloween Songs ever made, and one of the best Weikath has written. Sound like 1988 (in a good way,) but yet also fresh with lots of power and optimism. I wish this would've been the opener for the new album. Still, as a fan since the Keeper-Records, this song (and the whole reunion) is a dream come true!

No way. I live in the north side and they recorded in the south. And they never play here. Only in the spanish penninsula cause in Canary island there is so little metal culture (back in 2012 a metal festival here in Tenerife was suspended for low ticket selling despite having Evanescence, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson or Iggy Pop in the lineup).

Hansen: best songwriter. Kische: best high range vocal (The Chance, Save Us, We got the right), Andi: best mid-range crowd pleasers (Power, Hey Lord, Midnight sun).

Voltou às raízes com um clássico antológico a níveis dos Keeper's, parece até que estamos vivenciando nos anos 80's com essa pérola.
Uma verdadeira Obra Prima da Arte, tendo um trabalho fascinante em todos os aspectos como: artwork incrível, letras e melodias perfeitas.

Supongo que no han escuchado a Kiske y a Deris en vivo, y tal vez no conocen los discos de la era "Deris" que son increíbles. Con Deris Helloween se convirtió en la banda más importante del Power Metal, no hay duda de eso, y está canción es la prueba de ellos, suena a Gambling with the Devil o a Straight out of Hello. Enfim, desde o lançamento do "Pumpkins United", Kiske e Hansen fizeram uma turnê com o Helloween e, eventualmente, voltaram a se tornar membros efetivos da banda (a princípio, era pra ser só uma reunião, mas agora o negócio se tornou mais sério). Depois disso, fizeram mais turnês e agora este lindo e maravilhoso álbum auto-intitulado! :D

So amazing to see Helloween at the top of their game sonically as well as visually. This reminds me of vintage 80s Helloween but only with the visual accomplishments this most exceptional band was never afforded. Happy for them and proud of them. Best album all year!

Bien hacía el fallecido exjefe de mi hermano (rockero de los 70s) en decir esto "los metaleros de hoy día nada más sirven para criticar y quejarse de la música, en mis tiempos nada más DISFRUTÁBAMOS LA MÚSICA Y YA"
