@@ElevatedLawnscapes exactly. Right now my front is at 2.75 and my back is 2.5. The back has less sun and more moisture. I prefer the look of a lower cut. I also think a lower cut will help with minimizing fungal disease pressure.
There is some strategy to it. The easiest way is to start with your shortest pass first because it's easier to make a straight short pass than a long pass. Then follow that first pass across the lawn. The next thing is to lock in on a spot at the end of your pass and walk straight to it. Don't focus on the front of the mower focus further out where you are going. Final thing is take your time, dont drink and mow if you want them straight 😂. Those are my tips.
Standard practice and home lawns yes...3". Im testing the low mow capability and performance of the newer cultivars of fescue seed that are stated to be able be mowed at 1". I do not recommend this for a typical home lawn situation.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes Ahhh. You have to make sure that you mention that in these vids. I’ve been watching your content for a while and was always confused by your HOC.
@@tavarisjones551 My HOC was at 3" for about 3 years until last fall. I have explained what I am doing and why in a full length video: ruclips.net/video/bp8IF7HNFqM/видео.htmlsi=kObyeZ0rZOHD_KKn
I have never cut only 4 times a month. I have always cut at least 8 times pep month (2x per week). That is my minimum even when my HOC was at 3". Depending on rain and my schedule, I typically cut 2-3x per week. Mowing is one of the most important factors no matter the HOC.
@@ElevatedLawnscapes Great work! Hoping that we keep getting this rain especially during the summer months. At this height you have to be watering daily during droughts and 90 degree temperatures. Please keep the updates coming throughout the summer with progress and water scheduling
@@Braze-xxx I will not be watering daily. 3x per week at most, if it gets super dry, I will just water longer on those 3 days. The grass blades and the soil surface needs a period to dry out to reduce disease pressure.
the leveling of your lawn looks so smooth, nice mow
Thanks 👍🏾! It may look smooth but it needs leveling work
WOW!! Looks amazing 🔥🔥
Thanks Portia. Hope all is well on your end.
Nice work!!! Lines on point !! What mower is that with headlights lol or is that a MOD you did? 🤔
It's the Toro eTimeMaster. The Toro Super Recycler also has headlights.
Looks fantastic, my dude - I really enjoy your channel and appreciate your content! 💪🏼✊🏼
Thanks man I appreciate that 🙏🏾!
Sensational dem stripes are straight too
Thanks Vito 👍🏾!
Man, that's looking good! Is 1.5" that new sweet spot for now?
This is where I am keeping it for now to test the low mow capability. For the average homeowner I still think 2.75-3" is the sweet spot.

@@TransitionZoneGuy7b I agree 100% with your observations
Bro yard look like a PGA golf course.
Thanks man!
Dammm how can I have mine looking like that
Follow the information provided here on the channel.
What’s the mower?? Do you have a stripe kit in the back?
It's the Toro eTimeMaster and yes I do have a Big League Stripe kit.
WOW 🤩 Cam & Digging the Music!!! 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🙏🏿👊🏿
Thanks Raymond 👍🏾!
HThis is beautiful, but question, how are you able to keep your lines so straight ?? Are you just eyeballing it or is there a strat to it ?

Looks great dude!!!!!
Thanks brother 🙏🏾!
Nice deep green …..my tall fescue looks blue
It could first signs of drought stress if you havent watered. Or from an iron application if you have done one recently.
Excellent LIK DAT 👍🏿👀💯
Yessir...Preciate that 💪🏾
sheesh! straight 🔥🔥
Thanks 🙏🏾
Why is your HOC so low? Everything I've read says 3-4" for TTTF.

@@ElevatedLawnscapesI’m mowing 3/4 inch tall fescue it depends on your program
@delrayharris6583 completely agree and the average homeowner doesn't even have a program.
What type of Fescue are you using to cut that low. It looks awesome!
Mountain View Seed cultivars.
Nice work but, you have gone from cutting 4 times a month to cutting it 8 times on a month especially during the growing season
