That turf is ON FIRE Pete! Wow, your plan worked out like a charm. I followed your lead this year, and decided not to aeravate like I usually do. I got great results as well. Your program is second to none. To any new viewers reading my comment - follow Pete's GCI program, and within 2 seasons, all of your neighbors will have lawn envy. Simple as that.
Pete, drove through NC yesterday and thought about your lawn channel. Over the last few years I have watched you and your company and channel grow. We built a house 2 years ago and I planted my TTTF lawn grow scratch with your seed and your knowledge from your videos. Thank you again for sharing your gift. God bless from Circleville, Oh
I'm finally mowing today after another fall of overseeding with GCI TTTF. There is only 1 lawn in the neighborhood that looks better than mine, but he has an irrigation system. FWIW, I haven't aerated in years. Watch weather for some rain coming, lower deck to mow 3", starter fert, overseed, peat moss over top. Water, water, water.
I’ve over seeded my front yard with cool blue and blue heat. I follow Pete’s liquid lawn care guide. Now I’m in the process of doing my backyard (second season). I put in an irrigation system when I started my first over seed. My lawn is the talk of the neighborhood now. I literally have people driving by to look at it. I had to email a picture to Pete. So once again Pete thank you bro. I’m currently getting my neighbors front yard together for her. I’m not a lawn care guy but hey follow Pete’s directions and anyone can get it done. Now I’m about to hit it with the green charge in a few weeks.
Four months in at our new house, nothing but a salad patch for a yard. Killed/removed most of the undesirables, dethatched, and overseeded some Spreader Elite about 3 weeks ago. New grass is about an inch long and coming in BEAUTIFULLY. Such a great feeling to watch an ugly lawn come to life like this 🤩
Good day to you Pete from Massachusetts, I only listen to you, cuz the proof, it's there in your yard! And in mine as well, since I subscribed to your channel, God bless!
Pete I gotta tell you, I didn’t know squat about grass except I got this urge to learn after watching some of your videos. Fast forward 3 months later. I just finished a 7k sq ft full yard reno with 5 zones of irrigation and 29 sprinklers. I laid down 60 lbs of your GCI Cool Blue and after 3 weeks post seeding, I couldn’t be more thrilled! Literally now just bought my first reel mower and by Spring I’ll be sending you some pictures of my first stripes! Thanks for all your knowledge and motivation. Happy and healthy holidays to come for you and your family!
I did the same mic this year for the first time as well and my reasoning was that I'm impatient and wanted immediate gratification for my low spots. Rye grows first and shades for the fescue and blue grass to slow grow. I'm very happy with the results and this will be my standard going forward.
Pete. I did the granular Protene and a light shot of Greene Charge, 15 oz per 1000 with adjuvant. I wanted to push the growth and green up since we are getting freezing temps early this year.
I need me an irrigation system getting tired of dragging that hose around my 6,000 sq ft front yard and 6,000 sq ft backyard not only when seeding but also to water in fertilizer insecticides herbicides I'm pretty tired of it.
Wow, you’re dedicated. I do the same, but for way less square footage. I’m over it and need an irrigation system. But now I feel like I have no room to complain after reading that you do it for 12k sqft. 😂
I went one season using impact sprinklers connected to several hoses that I had to switch around. I used a timer connected to the spigot on my porch. That was somewhat practical when I was working from home during COVID, but when I lost most of the yard during a vacation when I couldn’t be home to manage the hoses I knew that irrigation was the only practical solution. I did a full renovation at the same time. Total cost was around $10k, but it was worth it since I’m committed to having the best lawn I can.
I'll one up ya lol. I'm using a Big Sprinkler 1000r with a booster pump for a 27,500 sq ft yard. It'll be 2 weeks this coming Tuesday that I seeded our new build yard. I just went and got another booster pump and am gonna order another sprinkler so I don't have to keep hauling the stuff around. I need to come up with some kind of DIY system that'll make my life easier.
Not gonna lie thats big. You can put that irrigation in on your own, I installed mine this year, watched alot of youtube snd it honestly went great. Cost alot of sweat but damn did it save me some $$$
Yes it's worth every $$. Probably about $1500.00 for what you need. Plus make sure you get the app on your phone then you can control anywhere you are vs going to the box in your basement.
Pete, I did a full reno on my yard with the GCI TTTF. Seed went down September 17th. Amazing germination and results so far! I have some creeping charlie coming in from the neighbor's yard, I'd like to spray a triclopyr product like T Zone but don't know how long I should wait to spray after seeding? I don't want to damage my new turf
Looks great Pete. I watched an older video of yours from about 3 years ago where you used a spike aerator...it was a black machine, I heard you mention it was the z-plug from LT Rich. So I looked them up, saw some videos where it only have a plugger so I assumed they used to make a spiker attachment that you had, but come to find out they were bought up by Toro if memory serves. Anyway, I liked that machine in your video, and what I liked about it was the thickness of the spikes, and how numerous they were. Is there a machine on the market that has something similar?
Great video, I have a question. Normally when I mow especially when the lawn is thick doing a double on the 1st pass north and south, I mow at 3.75 on the second pass I mow at a 4.25 I mow east and west. I have a little of the checkard board pattern. Today I tried to the same but this I mow the same height on each direction. My strips didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to. My question is when you are doing a checkard board strip do you raise your deck or leave it the same? Thanks
I am building a new house and I’m curious as to what grass I should get. I live in East Texas and my property will be in full sun. We will also have a sprinkler system. I am wanting a nice yard but my budget is fairly low. Just needing some direction. Thank you.
Great video!!! Very engaging... With everything going on right now, the best decision is having a profitable investment strategy. Stocks are good but crypto is better.
>Inflation is killing my budget and my salary. I can't invest anymore and it seems like I will need to sell all of my risk assets to keep my head above the water this year.

I've over seeded my lawn twice since moving in here a few years ago and always buy your TTTF. It's amazing! Thank you Pete and God bless.
That mix works great here in New England. Holds up on hot summer stretches and is fantastic for cool weather, shade and full sun.
We just hit the prime seeding time for our fall. Looking forward to that spreader elite.

First Aussie 😁. Pete, a great video, have a good day mate. 😎
I would like you to try an area of 100% or high % of KBG to see what it looks like vs tall fescue. Thanks
Looks great Pete what’s the HOC you going with on this
I love the strips in the yard. I just can’t keep my stripes in a straight line.
Hey just curious are those sequoia or incense cedar? Beautiful yard and always enjoy the videos and positivity!
