you say you don't have to change chips. Dose a chip tell what color is in the cartridge or just the amount used? The reason I ask is I cleaned out a 412X cartridge with yellow toner and I'm going to put Ghost White toner in it. My printer will handle it.. I just want to know about the chip..Than YOU Jim
Hi, informative video. Have you ever faced horizontal color bands( sometimes all 3 and sometimes 1 color) on printouts from these cartridges. I refill by completely opening the cartridge and reassembling again.
Do you mind sharing how to do this way of refilling, I am getting frustrated.
If you have bands the main charge in the cartridge is either bad or you didn’t reinstall it correctly
I tried your step by step instructions. Printer would not print. I turned the printer off and then back on. Printer did work. Suggest you add that step.

What is the expected pages with that refill amount?
Question: I have been refilling my 305A cartridges for years. Punch the hole, pour the toner in. With this one, it seams as though there is a bag to fill in the cartridge. When you perforate the protective vinyl, are you making a hole in a bag to refill?
Yes, that's right. Though, it's not the end of the world if some toner lands outside the bag.

My old CM1312nfi had a toner auger in the cartridge, these don't? I am getting a new M477fnw soon. Not sure if that has the auger.
The church I am volunteering with has a MFP M477FDW, thank you for the information about that continue printing. Now the cartridges I have seem to have a refill hole, will the bottles you showed work with that hole or do I have to "solder" one out. Also, I was able to buy from ank ink on amazon on Black Friday I was able to get 4 color 410a cartridges for $35. I am guessing that was a one time deal. With your ink at $54 for a kit of 4 colors, at 60g am I getting enough toner to fill more than one color of cartridge? Or should I stay with my deals? I just discovered 410x as well. I just thought well that bulk toner would be as cheap as bulk ink but I have not seen that yet.
If the cartridges already have a hole with a plug, you can fill through that same hole.
The bottles we sell are indeed for 1 refill.

the chip for "X" version is the same of "A" version?
We don't recommend replacing the chip on this printer. Instead, simply use the toner level bypass as shown in this video. This will give you the maximum cost savings as well as allowing you to truly use all the toner inside the cartridges.

I refilled all colours, problem is I have some blue stains and few of red too.
The drum may be bad, also check the transfer belt if any.
How many grams do I need to refill?

what about waste bin container? you didn't clean it! On this way, toner could work properly how long? A few hundred of pages, until waste bin full and start to make trouble with waste toner on your print job.
The waste bin will typically last 2-3 refills before needing to be emptied. You will know when it's time to empty the waste bin because you will see colored streaking on the page. In the interest of keeping this video short, we omitted discussion of the waste bin. However, the paper instructions that we provide with the product does show where to poke the hole to empty the waste bin.
Firstly, the waste toner box is clogged, secondly, these printer models print only when the chip is replaced
In our paper instructions, we do discuss the optional emptying of the waste toner compartment, though this is only required on the 2nd refill on this model. However, the chip bypass as discussed in the video definitely does work on these models.
