- Made a quick little 8bit remix to commemorate Super Mario Bros. Wonder's release! I am not an animator, so this was extremely tricky for me to make. I probably animated it in the worst way possible... but the end result was sort of neat, right?
In a way, I expect this to be one of my last 8bit remixes. I've had a lot more creative drive to produce tracks like the previous few videos. So, expect more of that. I've got a few Halloween themed ones coming soon!

He has always been a good animator in the 8-bit style.
its easy when you have 2 frames of animation to work with and only one mouth expression
though if you have like 10 states for vowels it wont work

It’s amazing how the music in modern Mario games could pass off easily as 8-bit tracks. Props to Koji Kondo’s musical skills.

@@TaterTotTunesYou probably won't respond, but I'd really love to see a "A Very Special March" remix 8-bit. It would be tougher, as you would need 4 small piranha plant and 4 large piranha plant, but it would blow up. See you soon, and I wish you well!

One thing I will point out, the things in the background in mario bros wonder are mountains, even though they kinda look like trees

Having looked back at your remix of torkdrift's theme, I hope you consider trying to remix groovy long legs's theme from Pikmin 4. Instantly became a fan-favorite once the game released. The song rips on RUclips don't have everything that plays during the boss fight, as its adaptive, there's like a sort of rest period during the blue phase that isn't included in the music videos on RUclips. I'd be willing to record some clips for you if you need them, as RUclips doesn't portray everything very well.

I was using NES VST on this track, which is free and the DL link is in the description. I’ve also used Famistudio on some other tracks which is a free NSF sequencer

Even though I don’t have the game, I still like the song.
The cool thing about the song is that since the segment it plays in takes a fixed amount of time, it's able to have a beginning middle and end. A lot of video game music can't do that since it has to be able to loop depending on how long the player is in the area.
Right! I imagine making this stage work was probably a complex task… plus tieing vocal parts to certain Piranha Plants, so if you kill them they stop singing. That’s the funniest thing that stood out to me

what did you use for making animation?
Adobe After effects, and funny enough, the flowers were actually “actors” I programmed to animate based on button presses (in Java). So I performed the piranha plants & trees, but compiled all of the recordings in After Effects.
