Just a quick one today guys as I've been absolutely flat out over here. Two things learned here. (1) This guy isn't quite as much of a trained pro as I thought, and (2) Sometimes he does stuff just for the heck of it because the idea makes him smile obviously! If I had that equipment, and that room, I would be having hopefully the same amount of fun as you! 🤣
Another thing to note, is never pour copper ONTO ice, just a plain block of it, it'll cause a massive steam explosion. There was a guy I used to watch that melted like a kilo of copper and dumped it on stuff; he poured it onto a block of ice and it exploded and sprayed molten copper everywhere. Also, never pour aluminum into a cavity in ice, TKOR did it (from a safe distance) and it exploded too.
I feel like the general rule of thumb is don't pour really hot stuff on really cold stuff unless you feel like getting a painful and extended hospital stay...or death. Lol.

22:00 - The shine looks like it comes from the nickel content (the nickel coating on top of copper terminals). I believe most audio connectors are copper underneath with different coatings on top (tin, brass, nickel, silver, gold). I didn't notice any gold- or silver-plated ones in the bin, just the cheaper nickel-plated ones.
It really reminds me of the metal use in Dollar and Two Dollar coins - 92% copper, 6% aluminium and 2% nickel. Likely some aluminium used in the cheaper ones, and as you mention, nickel plating is very common.
That was a beautiful bar, probably a little silver, tin, mostly copper and aluminum. It sure came out nice! I cant wait to see the motor melt, those are always my favorite. You're so close to a tonne so I'm sure it will be soon enough.

One thing I keep forgetting about Australia as a North American is when we're hot, you're cold, and vice versa. Your video says, "It's chilly!" and I'm like "What? In the middle of....oh wait, he's in Australia. 😅 That makes sense." Not gonna lie, having New Year's in the summer instead of the dead of winter would be a nice change of pace IMO.
Every time I see a copper bar I'm tempted to screenshot it and use it for terrain in a world-building map. Today's looks like a nice valley with a small river feeding a lake at the end, or the lake feeds the river.
Oh, I can't wait for you to reach the final goal, I would like to know what you have prepared for us as a special video. The video of the accident with the molten copper on the icy water is terrible, what negligence. Don't make Ingot cry, can't you see he's hungry? 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 Big hug from Argentina 🇦🇷👋🏻💪🏻
Thanks for posting the aftermath video. I was sure that bucket had disintegrated but it looks to have been the source of the slice on his left leg. I don't get why he would wear all of that protective gear, but still wear shorts. I would have had a much heavier apron. Those boot they wear in iron works with the external tongue to protect you from slag and at least jeans and FR coveralls. He had goggles but no face shield. I wore both when i was washing parts in a solvent bath. That mirror finish you put on the mystery bar was amazing! I did catch the reflection of the clown mask. Hebe nice touch.

I'm guessing that the plugs were a mix of brass, and nickel. Nickel polishes well. I'll bet that's why your plug ingot looks so good.
That copper steel hybrid reminds me of when Homer loses weight and ties all his loose skin behind his back with clips. They look so amazingly beautiful from one side and then you turn them over 😂
I see your temperature is 14.4C, obviously spring is around the corner there in Australia. Here in Canada, we are just still in the midst of summer, gonna hit 40C with humidex this weekend(Labour Day) Mind ya, was 7C last night. Crazy eh? Love your channel, cheers from London Ontario Canada.
Another great melt, glad that you kept doing these videos, you're close to the 1 tonne goal!
🇳🇴Fun video. Thats a lot of work, cleaning those plugs. Could there be gold or Silver in those?
And one 🥾 in the 🗑. Not bad. The other made quite a mess.
Been awhile since you made some coins...must keep adding to that chest...
Wow so much work, thank you mate, beautiful results.
Great video Sir watching from the U.K.
Mate, you have more patience than me. All that work for little reward. 😂
It’s always a good time watching the forbidden fanta being poured
I'm only 3 minutes 30seconds into this video and had to stop and comment.
Your dedication to content is unlike any other. And I applaud you.
Love the content as always. Keep it up 👍
I appreciate that!
I just want to thank you for the dog count down timer!
This is the best channel on the platform
Absolutely gorgeous property. Good on ya son.
Man I’ve thrown a lot of those ends in the shred pile .. my yard won’t take them either .. wish I had them now 🤣👊🏻great show as always
:)...I remember when you first got that forge...She's earned her keep, that's for sure! cheers!
Nice, another couple of masterpieces to your collection!😜👍
why do i want to see every bar made sanded and polished to that shine !!!! 😄
Wow only 4 more KGS to go thats crazy! Especially for the ones thats been here for years now. Seems like not that long ago you were just a few hundred kgs in. Ive been subscribed for 4 years maybe even 5 years now. Congrats on all you accomplishments and success youve earned it! Now lets get that 1000KGS
Well done sir some of those ends were gold plated that may be the reason why this bar came out beautiful excellent video awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Well done Mr Big Stack much kudos .....I myself couldnt be arsed xxxx
One thing I keep forgetting about Australia as a North American is when we're hot, you're cold, and vice versa.
Your video says, "It's chilly!" and I'm like "What? In the middle of....oh wait, he's in Australia. 😅 That makes sense."
Not gonna lie, having New Year's in the summer instead of the dead of winter would be a nice change of pace IMO.
Every time I see a copper bar I'm tempted to screenshot it and use it for terrain in a world-building map. Today's looks like a nice valley with a small river feeding a lake at the end, or the lake feeds the river.
They turned out beautiful. So close to your target now, very exciting
The dogs are always a nice break 17:26 nice zoom sounds
Wow that bar made from plug ends looks just like gold
Oh, I can't wait for you to reach the final goal, I would like to know what you have prepared for us as a special video.
The video of the accident with the molten copper on the icy water is terrible, what negligence.
Don't make Ingot cry, can't you see he's hungry? 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Big hug from Argentina 🇦🇷👋🏻💪🏻
Nice bars👍& love the dog barks 😁
Thanks for posting the aftermath video. I was sure that bucket had disintegrated but it looks to have been the source of the slice on his left leg. I don't get why he would wear all of that protective gear, but still wear shorts. I would have had a much heavier apron. Those boot they wear in iron works with the external tongue to protect you from slag and at least jeans and FR coveralls. He had goggles but no face shield. I wore both when i was washing parts in a solvent bath. That mirror finish you put on the mystery bar was amazing! I did catch the reflection of the clown mask. Hebe nice touch.
I absolutely love your treasure trove. And your lil pupperinos are absolutely adorable. I can't wait to see you hit your 1 ton goal.
When BigStackD levels up to melting steel, it's GAME OVER.
After the 93 mins I was expecting band aids on every finger 😂
Always loved watching the channel , I try to scrap when I can but I can't do the whole melting process like you can
4 more kgs, man! The moment is finally coming!
#5 Hello from Seattle WA ✌️🦊👍
