I recall a school excursion on this or similar model bus, pre 1975. The bus stopped at traffic lights on a steep hill. Unfortunately it lacked power to move again. All us kids were ordered off the bus, crossed the road, and re-boarded the bus on the other side of the lights where the road was less steep. This time was successful in moving.

That would have been an AEC with the same body. They were known for that. A Leyland wouldn't have that trouble.
