Previously went on Leyland Leopard 1765 open day @ Central station around Darling Harbour & Pyrmont ! Thoroughly enjoyed the day!😊😊😊
Wow...brings back memories of the old days...they were my favorite bus...the sound of the diesel engines the air release noises great technology fantastic.. it's sad that we don't have them in Queensland anymore. I remember in the 80s and 90s catching one for school.. they do such a fine job restoring them to perfect operation.. love the pneumatic gear system... I also restore the shifters for them great fun....
Sounds in amazing mechanical nick. A credit to the boys at the museum.
Nice expert driving. Great video.
i remember the old buses the 70s ones with the turbo diesal it would power up than let off a mighty pew our driver did 100 in a 50 zone that was back in the 80s in west sydney i spewed on one of those as a kid good memories
They were indeed great buses to ride on back in their heyday. Pure mechanical.
Was this old bus en route to somewhere or simply out on a random drive?
would be great to get more cab shots...
