I was absolutely gutted for G but goodness me that turn he did for Cav to win the final stage did an awesome job to bring some joy back into the race. What a legend!
With Geraint, Primoz, and Mark -- this has to be one of the most inspiring Giros ever. Great guys, all of them!

To start with I am a huge Primoz Roglić fan. Back in the day I used to loathe Sky. They came off as arrogant and conceited. It amazes me how much Ineos has re-engineered my perceptions. With individuals like Thomas, who is such an amazing ambassador for the sport and a true champion. I can now call myself a fan of the team. Road cycling in the past few years has simply become a beacon of good sportsmanship. true role models and epic performances.
I'm interested to know what about Team Sky made them "arrogant and conceited"?

I did not expect a giro recap make me emotional. But here I am, with tears in my eyes. Congrats to everyone involved, obviously to the riders, the heroes, the most.
The riders we're superb, faultless, gutted for Tao and G. Kudos to Rog , but G is The Man. What a quiet giant of the peloton.

Slovenian guy here, so obviously a massive/fanatic Pogačar and Roglič fan but boy, did I feel bad for G losing this Giro at the age of 37.
Watching him ride the last 1,5 kilometer up the Monte Lussari broke my heart!
Such a great champion, humble, down to earth guy, who recognize riders, who are better then him on a given day... I seriously hope to see him ride for another few years in top shape and win another GT because he so deserves it!
Also fun fact: Massive Ineos fan here, riding all the Ineos merch stuff day in and day out, because all other people in Slovenia are either Pogačar or Roglič fans... Im both, so problem easily solved with chosing Ineos as my favourite team!

Mad respect to the entire team, you should all be incredibly proud of your achievements. It was riveting to watch the drama unfold and massively impressive how the riders held their place so strongly for so long, despite the team not being at full strength. Wishing those who got sick or injured speedy and full recoveries.
Down to five it was always going to be hard, G was right, his team did an awesome job. Please win it next year Geraint 🤞🤞🤞.

Fantastic wrap up video! What a team. Some real high and low points but you’ve come away with a brilliant result.
G is everybody's goddam hero despite not winning the jersey. It's a sin that he has not received the appreciation he's deserved as the best overall pure bike racer in the sport for a decade - the class of the peloton, on and off the bike.
He could win several more GT, if he had received more consideration and had less bad luck. Anyway, never say never, a Vuelta or a Giro is still possible, or some one-week tours.
