I'm thinking of a little bit different route. I'm going to move the front axle forward and put a half inch drop motor plate under the frame. That's what I'm thinking anyway I'll see you when I get to it I have another project underway right now and I don't like to start another one until I get one finished. Your project inspired me thank you.
Not bad welding. You need to practice. Look infront of the puddle. Drag towards you. I assume your using a wire feed welder. With stick you want to try and see the puddle by watching behind the rod. Wire is better infront or behind. Good job.
I did have to trim the hood about 1” on the left side. Had to trime the frame, and then rebuilt /reinforced it . Any suggestions of clutch hardware ? Thanks
I’m not sure, but it’s likely you have the same issue with the height of the crankshaft on the predator engine. Plan on modifying your frame to make it work
I haven’t gotten to that point yet with my project. When I had this running before I had a bit of difficulty figuring out the stock wiring harness on the engine. I’d hope there are some good wiring diagrams available for the 670 online since so many people use those in projects
@@jasonwhitler4167 I just went and got some throttle cable from tractor supply worked good for me now I'm having issues with the wiring from the ignition switch to the engine I bypassed the original solenoid on it got some progress but getting it to turn over by key is my issue
I saw this and rushed to make sure the hood still fit over the alternator. I don’t know how I lucked out, but it fits perfectly without interfering the hood.

Looks awesome
Thank you!
A lot of making it work but it looks like you got a good handle on it and it will come out pretty good. Have a good week! See ya!

Neat! Took just a bit to fit her in. Which RR museum?
Boone and scenic valley railroad in Boone IA
@@jasonwhitler4167 Sweet! We have the rail bikes here in OR. Oregon Scenic railriders in Tillamook.
Where did you get the flywheel hub to fit to the clutch assembly?
I purchased it from an eBay seller that makes them. Pretty good quality, but the adapter does not make the engine a drop in replacement
@@jasonwhitler4167 ok cool. Yeah, seeing how you lowered the chassis on the trans, if I go this route, I plan to drop the motor mount plate.
@@jasonwhitler4167 and thank you for the response.

I purchased all of my clutch hardware on eBay. I only had to replace the throw out bearing and the clutch disc
@@jasonwhitler4167 thank you
I have a older 105 cub cadet would this setup work on it

I'm puttin a predator 670 on a international cub cadet 782 I'm having issues with throttle choke and wiring

Too late to the party but take the alternator down to frame rail. If it would work with an electric clutch. May be in the way I'm not sure.
