I just noticed that Gaurdragons are like Ice Barriers back in the 5ds Era. The extra deck monsters are insanely powerful, the main deck monsters rarely get played at all.

I think it would be a great idea to play Chaos emperor dragon of Armegedon in this D-link version to help with the grind game. Emperor Armegedon pendulum effect help add back a bannished Dragon to your hand back from the banish pile, it could recycle stuffs like Seyfert, Chaos ruler, Omni dragon Brotour, and especially Striker Dragon after you bannish it with Chaos ruler, baby chaos or Levianeer. As a bonus, it is very searchable (through Chaos Space, Brotour, Odd-eyes revolution and Melody of awakening dragon if you want to run a bigger package), it could speacial summon itself back from the extradeck after using the Pend eff then recycle itself once leave the field. From testing, with the help of Chaos emperor, I could at least use Striker Dragon twice a game. Overall, I think it would make a good tech pick to help with tje long game. By the way it have an ok monster effect if the situations ever come up.

You can combo without a normal summon, and the level 6 synchro can add and discard a dragon/winged Beast and isn't a HOPT, so you can dump both Chamber and cards like White Stone (Black Metal can be added, then equipped to REDMD), and they have their version of Elpy: Atum.

I think World Legacy Guardragon is a bit less useful, because Elpy no longer exists, yes you can still move Pisty, or revive Chamber (which you probably already summoned either from the trap or with your Normal) but it might not help as much as it used to. Brotaur is no longer searchable from Elpy, so I think I'd rather use Melody with another Levianeer and CED Armageddon since you'd be hard drawing it anyways, or just rely on Seyfert. Galactic Spiral definitely skips the need for Levianeer too, though the rip is useful, and allows you to save your Chaos Ruler for Hot Red Abyss. Triple Hieratic Seal seems a bit much, but the Extra is now more flexible. Accesscode Talker? As if Borrelsword isn't enough.
Off Atum or Galaxy Stealth Dragon you can special summon Dragunity Knight Leyv to target Buster Welp in grave and create a Buster lock which is better then the DMZ Dragon combo
So how do we do this on a Budget considering how expensive Chambers are gonna remain for quite awhile until El Dorado? I have the large majority of the Deck just no Dragonmaid Package cause of how expensive it was and being my budget of no more then 30$ a card unless its optimal to only play it at 1.
Konami didn't know and also we didn't know the way to kill dragon link completely before the July ban list To kill dragon link perfectly, they should have banned striker dragon and pisty as well
I have built a Lightsworn variant Chaos Dragons because of chaos ruler and raiden dragons aren’t dead I also use the buster lock as it’s dmz is a dark and pulsar summons when it leaves the field really good if you bait of negates then chaos emperor with pulsar it’s an otk deck or and 6 negate lock board. This is with out elpy and 1 striker. Team dragons!!
Hey Yacine! I know you mainly do competitive decks, but! How about an Ojama Deck? You can do monster zone block turn 1 or summon Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon on turn 2 :)
im trying a 60 card list with a 2/2.5 card combo depending on the hand hwere if you get to romulus and another monster and you get striker dragon to search boot sector you can ravine dump absorouter router search tracer romulus and monster make dagda boot sector special tracer chain dagda set scythe tracer pop boot sector rokket monster and dagda make verte verte make dragoon so end board is dragoon plus tracer which pops scythe. bit resource heavy and requires a few bricks but might work usually 2 card combos with a 1 card romulus plus dragon with graveyard effect like absorouter or tempest or 2.5 with a 1 card romulus plus an extender and discard for ravine
While dragon link is probably still playable and in some sense "good" it is not tier 1. That would be suggesting it is in the same tier as drytron and tribrigade. Like drytron is just the better combo deck imo. Still a cool deck profile tho, will show this to my brother who was hit pretty hard by the banlist.
I don’t think so there is no way drytron is the best deck cause it loses easily to hate unlike dragon link who have a bunch of extenders and a lot of variants + dragons can still play the most amount of handtraps
@@1sosukeaizen1 Jesse Kotton believes drytron to be the best combo deck of the format now. While he isn't infallible I tend to trust his opinion over others.

You can maybe get some plays with Dux and Phalanx because it can access level 6 Gae Daerg (not a HOPT that can add/mill Chamber or any Lv 1-4) or maybe Crystal Wing with the original lv 6 Vajarayna but the new support does most of what you need WITHOUT needing your normal summon. It's because it searches the lv 6 Mystletain with the spell so you can go into Atum.

Replace the dd crow with ghost belle and veiler with ash and the add 3 droplets and lancea and u got a winner
