It has not become the most popular breakfast place, you have just titled it like that. Yes it's one of the good places for food but not the most popular or some other superlative adjective etc etc. Then what about Rameshwaram cafe, Veena stores, MTR etc? All of them are described as the best, most, first and what not which the local native of Bangalore has never had an idea of. This is the nuisance value of social media. All it needs is for a video to go viral and it becomes the legendary true fact of centuries for millennials and Genz but wouldn't have existed in reality even for a couple years or months.
Vidhyarthi Bhavan was a non descript place since decades. A small shabby dusty hole in the wall eatery in an era where it was just a local neighbourhood dosa idly place obviously affordable. The actual legends and icons like Kamats, Ullas, Sangam, Tiffany's, Victoria, Koshy's etc are gone or are in poor state. MTR is the only icon of the 20th century still going strong. So Vidhyarthi Bhavan is just one of those places with good dosa still around, newly renovated when they got decent money come because of the new age food vloggers. The other new places like Rameshwaram are just nonsense created by food vloggers.. so no it's not the best or etc. There are still many others not covered by vloggers and many new that have come up. So no this kinda listing and ranking etc is very wrong content creation...
