it is the genes. our ancestors would nod their head while having food or pan in mouth, constantly. due to flexiblity it is easier to nod side wise rather than any other method. period.
I stay stone throw distance from this eatery and must say Raghavendra Stores is anyday better than Veena Stores, sorry to burst that bubble for Veena fans.
My best go to combination from this hole in a wall is grab a plate of Idly/Vada/Khara Bath/Shavige Bath and just laze in the railway station which is right behind this place!!
Also the uniqueness of Vada here is that he double fries it for a crisp golden skin which not many places do!

South sirf din rat dosa eadli aur biryani khate hai thik jo hotel hai uadhar bhi yahi salo roti sabjji chapati other state ke log aate hai uanke liye kuch rakho vo roj thodi eadli vada lunch aur dinner mai khayenge 😂

Hygiene? Yucky Ambience 😩
Don't comment sitting on an armchair. A place does not thrive for 45 years with "yucky ambiance", except for " yucky people".
Food looks tasty but handling of the food by bare hands by the person who is serving is unacceptable even for a road side stall. He is using same hands for handling cash and doing other things. For the cook to handle food is fine but others can easily use serving utensils without touching with hands. Indian consumers should demand basic hygiene.
