Thank you Emma. My wife and best friend of 42 years passed away with cancer December 2019. I had written her a letter to tell her just how much I loved her just a week before she died. I had to get someone else to read her the letter because I couldn't stop crying. I could not let her leave this world without telling her how much she meant to my life. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner is. Also, you would more likely be much closer to a person who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. Anyway, that's not my point. What I mean is that it can be really hard to stay happy when your sad. You can only hold back your tears for so long until you breakdown. Family and loved ones can help you tempirarily but not forever. The reason being is that *we* are the ones in controll of our body and emotions, people can lighten our moods- believe me my friend can read me like a magazine- but it only lasts so long. When you've been faking happiness for years its one of the worst feelings, and it's so much of a problem! I'm not sure if I understood your comment correctly and I apologize for if I took it the wrong way but imagine how Emily must've felt if her comment was true and she is dealing with something. You never really know someone until you find out what they're like on the inside. It's possible for someone you think is really happy to just be faking it, I managed for years until I finally cracked. I know it seems like sometimes people are faking their emotions in the comment section but it's *so* *so* much easier to talk to and rely on strangers who feel the same way as you. I don't mean to get offended by your comment but I did and more people can too, even though I know (by the way you wrote it) that that's not what you intended and I appreciate that. I had to get someone else to read her the letter because I couldn't stop crying. I could not let her leave this world without telling her how much she meant to my life. I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.

Anyway, that's not my point. What I mean is that it can be really hard to stay happy when your sad. You can only hold back your tears for so long until you breakdown. Family and loved ones can help you tempirarily but not forever. The reason being is that *we* are the ones in controll of our body and emotions, people can lighten our moods- believe me my friend can read me like a magazine- but it only lasts so long. When you've been faking happiness for years its one of the worst feelings, and it's so much of a problem! I'm not sure if I understood your comment correctly and I apologize for if I took it the wrong way but imagine how Emily must've felt if her comment was true and she is dealing with something. You never really know someone until you find out what they're like on the inside. It's possible for someone you think is really happy to just be faking it, I managed for years until I finally cracked. I know it seems like sometimes people are faking their emotions in the comment section but it's *so* *so* much easier to talk to and rely on strangers who feel the same way as you. I don't mean to get offended by your comment but I did and more people can too, even though I know (by the way you wrote it) that that's not what you intended and I appreciate that.

I met her in 2012, over seven years ago now. I truly fell in love with her the moment I first saw her face and hugged her for the first time. I knew at that moment I would never be the same man. We fell deeply in love quickly.
