yep, this was the transformation of Margo, and it's really sad, because it's very much because of loser Wayne and batshit Bazza I feel so sorry for women like Margo who believe that things like Wayne are the best they can hope for and all they deserve.
If they were vindictive and knew Maga could earn money behind bars, no doubt they'd send in a messenger or a few, to collect. In real life, people who have been loaned less than $100 get killed over it because they never paid the loan shark! One case a man shot another over $20 the victim had borrowed. Families have destroyed themselves over one member borrowing from another and then never paying it back. Thats why you never personally lend money to anyone, unless there is a 100% chance they will pay back. And you see proof of regular deposits in their account, lol. You have to be realistic. No one should expect someone who doesnt have money regularly, being paid for working regularly, will ever be able to repay the lender back! And on Judge Judy/Judge Mathis shows, defendants have claimed to the plaintiff that they will repay them back with their tax return money, and they never do! Its amazing how common that is! Also you need to write out a contract, signed by both parties, acknowledging the plan of repayment. Other wise the borrower can tell the person they will be paid when they get money. That could be years from that point...cases on the Judge shows where there is no binding contract signed by both parties, the case gets thrown out because of that!

Ms. Brenda Yes, I did think that myself. Yes, but the outside scenes were shot in a block together for the last couple of episodes filmed in 1980. The studio scenes are the first ones filmed for 1981.
But of course hardly anyone had video recorders at this time, so 99.9% of people would only see the show once. That means it wouldn't be so important to keep continuity going, because people would probably just imagine that they'd noticed the differences in things like hair length and colour and couldn't check back on it.
@@Redsleather The change from 1979 to 1980 wasn't accurate either. It changed on ep 91 which is about right but then went back to 79 until about ep 110. 1980 to 1981 as mentioned above. 1981 to 1982 was probably about right, 1982 to 1983 also but the change from 1983 to 1984 was messed up. It did change to 1984 at about the right time but then went back to 1983 for about 40 more episodes. This 1984 page stayed until episode 598, I think the first episode produced in 1985 would have been ep 535. Ep 600 was produced around Aug/Sept 1985.
Poor Sally Dean, they certainly had her there. Debra Lawrence plays another character later on in the series but that character is on the other side of the bars!!!!
I think the very young Debra Lawrance looks very much like a young Carrie Fisher circa Princess Leia during her short stint as trainee officer Sally Dean ~ 18th February 2023.
Doreen’s character is so badly written. On the one hand she’s shown mature enough to be a teaching assistant to the young kids and put their needs first even if it means doing overtime for free but on the other when a wayward youngster tries to better their education she constantly mocks them and is permanently jealous of the attention they receive!
+Chanine Clark It is darker. At least the rest of her hair now matches the colour of her roots. The prize goes to Margo, though, in the hair department: Roughly 20 episodes ago, she was partially blonde with lighter streaks and mostly light brown hair----then when she gets out of the pound, she's an all-over blonde!
It was a wooden stake. Margo The Vera Slayer. According to Officer Dean. The gun was pointed at Margo. Was the gun empty or was Vera a bad shot? Jim probably gave Vera a gun with blanks. 😅😅😅
Vera is the most tedious, one dimensional character ever. Even that ridiculously bad woman, whose name I cannot recall from a while back (Caroline Simpson's mother) was more nuanced.

Meg should be teaching Ms. Dean. Vera's going to ruin it all for Ms.Dean. Ms. D. is taking out her aggression on pottery!
" You have no idea what it's like out there !!!!" 🙀😸
Vera started the whole thing buy telling Baxter. Vera's just a troublemaker
In the early scenes, Bea and Lizzie have short haircuts. When they're sitting outside they are long again. Ha ha. Bad continuity.
Yes, but the outside scenes were shot in a block together for the last couple of episodes filmed in 1980. The studio scenes are the first ones filmed for 1981.
***** That's what S2SAL is saying- this is exactly what bad continuity is. It makes no odds when they were filmed- it is 'bad *continuity* ' !!
S2SAL The both look better with their longer hair
But of course hardly anyone had video recorders at this time, so 99.9% of people would only see the show once. That means it wouldn't be so important to keep continuity going, because people would probably just imagine that they'd noticed the differences in things like hair length and colour and couldn't check back on it.
Mic above Georgie's head on 34.28
That mongrel trigger happy cop with the twirly tach looks like John C Reilly.
David Andrews looked really smug when he was coming out to see the women thinking they wanted him as a go between!!!😂
All in a week's work at Wentworth! lol
Doreen is soooo jealous LOL
somebody please slap Doreen backward
I think this was the first episode produced in 1981
I thought it was too, but it still says 1980 on the end credits. Maybe they were changing their hair in preparation for Christmas 1980.
@@ajs41 It said 1980 until about episode 211. Prisoner was often inaccurate with the year on the end credits.
@@ajs41 it’s too bad Patsy King hasn’t yet had a more modern, 1980s hairdo!
@@pak8606 agreed, the credits and copyright years aren’t the most reliable
I really dislike the teacher
Great ending. Almost like an episode of Grange Hill.
Poor Sally Dean, they certainly had her there. Debra Lawrence plays another character later on in the series but that character is on the other side of the bars!!!!
Doreens nothing but a spiteful bully. Bea should give her a slap.
vera's and erica's hair are darker and bea and lizzie have had haircuts!
23:36 - VERA to MARGO - "STOP that wingeing, Gaffney, you've only been shot! You're even worse than Burns!"
Meg would rather give Georgie a dead end job at woolies than let her study for longer.
why is this episode 5 minutes shorter than usual .. has it been edited for some specific reason ?
If we're gonna teach Baxter to read we're gonna need a montage
cockney, buzzin, my name is Wayne ha ha😇
I think the very young Debra Lawrance looks very much like a young Carrie Fisher circa Princess Leia during her short stint as trainee officer Sally Dean ~ 18th February 2023.
Bennett would be perfect for the Gestapo
Officer Dean is an eejit. If Vinegar's really got it in for Bea so badly, why doesn't she have her scrubbing the corridors constantly?
Daphne Graham!
Bea flipped Fletch the bird, 17:20
Margot... He COULDN'T have had 'anyone', love.
I hope Mr. Andrew sticks around a bit. I'd get sent to prison just so he could teach me a lesson.
He looks like a young Fred West 🤭🤭🤫🤭
He makes me feel 🤮🤮
I dont believe in prisoner rehabilitation, just PUNISHMENT
Why was this episode slightly shorter than the norm?
Margo goes rogue 😂😂😂
Doreen’s character is so badly written. On the one hand she’s shown mature enough to be a teaching assistant to the young kids and put their needs first even if it means doing overtime for free but on the other when a wayward youngster tries to better their education she constantly mocks them and is permanently jealous of the attention they receive!
Andrews isn't a very good teacher or he'd have known straight away without Vera spouting off there's no way anyone could learn to read that quickly.
vera's bad dye job lol
I think it’s time for Georgie to leave...
Vera'a hair seems to be gaining a slightly reddish brown colour when pulled back.
I bet Meg reads the Guardian.
Neil McLachlan She probably eats it for breakfast. With her vegan full English! 😳
How many shootouts is that now?
Vera asking Trap; "what are you doing here?" Not keeping her trap shut.😢 thats for sure. Mouse is a little shit disturber.
New Screw, Blew herself up! That done my head in,.She's Dense!!
Ans I've just got to point out Those *Sausages* ????😝
Has Vera dyed her hair? It looks darker than normal?
+Chanine Clark It is darker. At least the rest of her hair now matches the colour of her roots.
The prize goes to Margo, though, in the hair department: Roughly 20 episodes ago, she was partially blonde with lighter streaks and mostly light brown hair----then when she gets out of the pound, she's an all-over blonde!
+SoapsNthings Vera seems to look really pale with darker hair & I've never really noticed the change in Margo's hair.
SoapsNthings Vera's hair was lighter when She walked outside
It was a wooden stake. Margo The Vera Slayer. According to Officer Dean. The gun was pointed at Margo. Was the gun empty or was Vera a bad shot? Jim probably gave Vera a gun with blanks. 😅😅😅
vera's hair looks darker
Vera is the most tedious, one dimensional character ever. Even that ridiculously bad woman, whose name I cannot recall from a while back (Caroline Simpson's mother) was more nuanced.
Personally I think Vera Bennett had run her course as a character by now. Fiona Spence quit at the right time
WE WANT ANDREWS?? Why are they all constipated ????? I don't get it!!!
